If I am silent, my dear, let me be so---------

If I am silent, my dear, let me be so;

Lest the hearts be in flames, if I spoke.

Please Note:-

Road side rantings shall not turn lies into truth-

As a tree without fruits never downwards droops;

Changing colours like a chamleon is your pastime-

But my greenary in all seasons is ever pristine!

Because:-

We talked behind doors, let talks remain so-

The place will rock if some secrets I disclose;

If I am silent, my dear, let me be so-

Lest the hearts be in flames, if I spoke.

You say anything, then, claim it is in jest-

I say a few words you term them as pest;

It is not my habbit to name persons as such,

Should you initiate it, I must repay the debt?

If I am silent, my dear, let me be so;

Lest the hearts be in flames, if I spoke.

I know I have no status in this place as yet,

But I willl anchor here to be embedded, I bet;

As cuckoo of the orchid, each branch I will flirt,

Other day I had fun; future, too,it will be mirth.

If I am silent, my dear, let me be so;

Lest the hearts be in flames, if I spoke.

The news of your arrival , "Rajee", is now, in the air-

Some dislike your style, but your gait to some endear;

Remain focussed, you shall sure reach your destination;

While you pass through many milestones and obstructions.

If I am silent, my dear, let me be so;

Lest the hearts be in flames, if I spoke.

Halt there, O' dear life! please reduce your speed somewhat----

Halt there, O' dear life! please reduce your speed somewhat,
I have been constantly on the move, let me have some rest.

It were those childhood dreams, which I passionately chased;

Got so embroiled in them that fun of my youth I had missed.

Halt there, O' dear life! please reduce your speed somewhat,

I have been constantly on the move, let me have some rest.

Many a goals I had achieved but I was never to be contented,

As the race went on, sorrow and ecstasy were both presented.

Halt there, O' dear life! please reduce your speed somewhat,

have been constantly on the move, let me have some rest.

There were those times when 'life' moved slowly, so did I;

I don't know how it happened, but suddenly 'life' began to fly?

Halt there, O' dear life! please reduce your speed somewhat,

I have been constantly on the move, let me have some rest.

In this fast moving life, I came across land- mark destinations-

At times, my feet stumbled or it were simple miscalculations.

Halt there, O' dear life! please reduce your speed somewhat,

I have been constantly on the move, let me have some rest.

'Relatives- worries' or the 'pressure of my job' were never kind;

Also, the future of my children constantly troubled my mind?

Halt there, O' dear life! please reduce your speed somewhat,

I have been constantly on the move, let me have some rest.

I was so engrossed with the worries of the future, my dear!

I have no clue when my face aged and body had wear and tear.

Halt there, O' dear life! please reduce your speed somewhat,

I have been constantly on the move, let me have some rest.

I lament, I wasted my time always worrying for others,

Time to take rest now "Rajee", your tired feet dodder.

Halt, O' dear Life! Please reduce your speed somewhat;

I have been constantly on the move, let me have some rest.

SPECTACLE OF TIMES!

My blood boiled on every issue for, hot-blooded I was in my prime,
Advancing age has mellowed me down and life has lost its shine.

Who shall I narrate my tale of woe, when emptiness keeps me company?
There was time when world bowed before me, now, who cares for me?

Alas! I wasred my happy moments of 'present times', worrying for 'tomorrow';
'Tomorrow' never came but life, at the mercy of others, is a bundle of sorrows.

There was time when people who had world at their feet, they felt shy of me;
And even those who claimed to be merchants of death, seeing me would flee.

Even the pages pf History do narrate to us an interesting episode!
Great ARJUNA and his GANDEEV were beaten by small time kids.

It is a spectacle of times "RAJEE", happy moments,once gone, never again arrive;
O,I've seen powerful men in their prime, crying in the closing years of life!

MISMATCH!

Some times in life, strange persons one does find,

Whose obnoxious conduct reflects their small minds;

First five years of infancy make a child acquire traits-

Author of the book, I'm OK, you are OK, so does state.

Life beacons at them but they let the opportunity go by-,

As the environs they grow up might make them very sly;

Ego,hatred and jealousy then make them emit toxic fumes-

Which, often, turn a blossoming orchid into savage dunes.

Long long ago, a friend was enticed by a charming face,

Infatuation so over -powered that they got married in haste;

Alas! the differences in their up-bringing were soon shown-

As man was from joint family and bride from a broken home.

Cultural mismatch turned their homes into a battlefield,

Arrogance of the girl ensured no comromise be reached;

Suspicious and cynnical, she always dreamt him flirting,

Fed up with her daily barbs, the man kept slowly drifting.

But the lady became a nuisance even in their locality ,

When neighbours got enraged with her split personality;

Her hypocritical ways were unbearable for even her friends,

Because they all realised she was not what she pretends.

Soon it was apparent she loved the company of freaks;

Lunacy and perversion was beefed up by wanton deceit;

One day an old lunatic enticed her with verbal aerobatics,

She lost her wits and fell for scheming fox's virile antiques.

The neighbors were anguished at her unacceptable deeds,

While the wily old man exploited her for his own sexual needs;

Unmindful of own acts, she would accuse husband of adultry,

One day temperature rose very high and weather became sultry;

Selfish old man smelt his chance to exploit the vulnerable lady,

He told her husband that the unfaithful woman carried his baby.

This was enough to put to an end to the tale of love at first sight-

When emotions over-power one, not easy to judge what was right?

To live in a social system, one must follow its well-set norms;

I should become We, if one wants to avoid marital storms;

Self-righteousness ought to give way to adjustment and compromise---

And broken-home children must grasp virtues of joint family ties?

I am a human-being, I am no sage.

Don't be in rage, dear, don't be in a rage?

For, I am a human-being, I am no sage.--(2)

I do still love you ,dear, I do,still, love you;

Whatever you want me, that's what I do;

You are my craze, still, you are my craze,

For, I am a human-being, I am no sage.--(2)

Love is mutual concern, love is, also, care?

They say in love and war, everything is fair;

We have our roles to play, as life is a stage;

For, I am a human-being, I am no sage.--(2)

Love needs trust ,dear, love needs trust;

In order to sustain itself, faith is a must;

Yet as we move in life, doubts will be raised;

For, I am a human being, I am no sage.--(2)

WELCOME, DEAR ANUSHKA!

On March 23, 2011, at 19.10 PM (LA, California Time, USA), a girl child was born in our family---This time, it was my son and DIL, who were blessed with the child. We heartily welcome her to our family fold. And I scribbled these lines welcoming her!

O' dear 'Anushka'! Welcome to this small world of ours!
You have illuminated our lives like divine powers;
Always, this month of March 2011 we shall adorn-
For, on its 23rd day, our cute little princess was born;
It was four and half years wait for you to show intent-
Excited and thrilled, your parents just could not pretend;
Grooming you as a 'good human' would be their vision---
As you grow from a bubbling infant to a graceful citizen.

You would sure be the cynosure of your grandparent’s eyes,
Your eloquence and elegance would enhance their pride;
Matters not if you were born far away from your native land,
Even in Los Angeles, you would represent 'Kushwaha- brand';
In the 'United States of America', as you would slowly grow,
Your lively graces and 'Indian' beauty would definitely show;
When your fame and achievements on the time-curve meander --
People would ask, "Is she the grand-daughter of 'Raj & Rajinder"?

I know Abhilash and Ketki would have their own expectations,
So would Ajit and Anjali, flirt with their meticulous calculations;
Success and glory would touch your feet as time moves on--
You would sure attain the heights, where none had ever gone;
To needy friends, you shall be an oasis in the desert of their lives;
To the evil minds, sense of goodness you would definitely imbibe;
You shall be the hope of the world tormented by violence and hate,
You shall guide the humanity for its final tryst with desirable fate.

May you shine like a brightest star, your whole life through?
May success and fame be yours to take, in whatever you do?
May you imprint your name on all spheres of human activities-----
May you sail through crisis and conflicts with vigor and vitality?
May you spearhead mankind’s march into the coming cosmic age?
May you ensure that hatred and wars no more be a human craze?
I,as your grandfather,wish you to lead a life full of glorious times!
May Anushka become a divine light that heals the minds of crime!

DEAR, I OWN YOU !

I don't wish to thank you,
But I do want to frank you;
No, no, I don't frown you----
Because, dear, I own you.

What silly doubts you have?
Clarifying them, I go mad;
Heart's queen I crown you-----
Because, dear, I own you.

You know,dear, I love you,
How can I ever snub you?
Ocean of love, I'll drown you-----
Because, dear, I own you.

I know you are possessive,
Your love for me is massive;
Your thoughts,I surround you;
Because, dear, I own you.

I dread the way you fight,
I do hate the way you slight;
Yet,"Rajee",I can't scorn you-
Because, dear, I own you.

NAGAS Vs ARYANS---REVISITING SOUTH ASIAN HISTORY---PART -3 OF MY ARYAN-DRAVIDIAN -NAGAS SERIES !

"----------If there is a country on earth which can justly claim the honour of having been the cradle of the Human race or at least the scene of primitive civilization, the successive developments of which carried into all parts of the ancient world and even beyond, the blessings of knowledge which is the second life of man, that country is assuredly India---------------"
--- A quote from ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANICA

Recent genetic Studies have shown that there were no GENETIC DIFFERENCES between North and South Indians. Please refer to ----- "A prehistory of Indian Y chromosomes: Evaluating demic diffusion scenarios". Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences of United States of America ; 103(4) carried out on 26 Jan 2004. . Genetically speaking, ANCIENT NORTH INDIANS (ANI) came to this land some 40,000 years from Middle East and ANCIENT SOUTH INDIANS (ASI) entered South India through Australia some 60,000 years back------What ever genetic differences existed between ANI and ASI that was some 40,000 years back is . Here is an extract from a study report on " ARYAN-DRAVID -DIVIDE" MYTH-Study:-

"----------.A study of 132 individuals, 560,000 single-nucleotide polymorphisms in 25 different Indian groups were analyzed, providing strong evidence in support of the notion that modern Indians are a hybrid population descending from two pre-historic, genetically divergent populations[citation needed], one of which, referred to as the 'Ancestral North Indians', 40,000 years ago and the other, called the 'Ancestral South Indians', 60,000 years ago. The intermingling of ANI's and ASI's happened in the same period as the ANI's first appeared, 40,000 years ago -------"

This report has been published in TIMES OF INDIA on 25 September 2009. Therefore the study of prehistory of SUNDA LAND/LEMURIA/KUMARI KANDAMN is very important. I insist that there was nothing known as ARYAN and DRAVIDIANS in the ancient India. They were just symbols of address for various type of people. ARYANS were NOT a race but a lingual fraternity who owed their ancestry to NAGAS of SUNDA LAND/ KUMARI KANDAM/ LEMURIA. To be very frank, if I can use the term 'Anglicised-'NRI' to describe the ARYANS of ancient India, as in the modern context , I won't be drastically wrong. They were 'SANSKRITISED NAGAS' who returned home after a long sojourn outside Indian sub-continent. Same is true of Dravidans----they were 'Non -Sanskritised' people-----who did not speak Sanskrit.

As time passes many established logics get blown away---particularly about cosmic arena, sociology, geology and astronomy. More recently, it has come to notice that homo sapiens-----ancestors of present day man first appeared in the Middle east on the banks of River Jordon and NOT the Rift valley of Africa. It is from here the man went to SUNDA LAND or LIMURIA Islands or KANDAM. This land is the SUBMERGED PORTION of ocean between Peninsular coastline of India and modern Indonesia. It is here man first tasted his social growth as a 'civilised man' when he established the AGRICULTURAL CIVILISATION which later spread to rest of the world.

This development further debunks ARYAN MIGRATION or ARYAN INVASION THEORY. The agricultural civilisation in the coastal region of India or what some call SUNDA LAND/LIMURIA or KANDAM existed in the pre-ice age. This was a KNOWLEDGE RICH society of NAGAS----followers of Lord Shiva whose temples dot the Subcontinent from Afghanistan-Pakistan in the west and North to North east India in the East and Kerala-Karnatka in the South.

Around the end of last ice age, say some 11000- 8000 BC, the sea level began to rise with the melting of glaciers. By 8000 BC it had risen by 400 feet thus submerging bulk of SUNDA LAND. This forced the people from the region to move up north and west----along with their VEDIC KNOWLEDGE, which they had generated . When glaciers melted they also formed rivers-----There sprang up rivers like SARASWATI and SINDHU------The migrants from the SUNDALAND settlled along the banks of River SARASWATI--- for, the need of the water for their agricultural economies was essential------It led to setting up of RIVER CIVILISATIONS. It was the SARASWATI River along which major settlements were established as evidenced by 75% of the settlements being unearthed along its recreated channel, today. It is called INDUS valley Civilisation because two early excavations of MOHANJODARO and HARAPPA were found along River Indus and its tributary, River Satluj. Incidentally, Satluj and Yamuna were tributaries of River sarraswati. This river is worshipped as GODDESS of KNOWLEDGE in Hindu mythology. This is the reason because most of the ancient Indian Civilisation----the resource of Knowlege---was spread along this river. The migrations of Naga people continued towards North and West----as far as Syria-Iraq---Turkey---Germany----Hungry---Uzvekistan--Kazakhistan---and many other countries in the Balkans.

Geological study has shown that some major upheavals took place around 4000-4500 BC which dried up the source of River Saraswati and thus led to it eventual drying up by 2000 BC. During the upheaval , River Satluj and River Yamuna parted company with River Saraswati. They say by 2000 BC River Saraswati had totally disappeared. Thus between 4000 BC and 2000 BC a reverse migration took place which is now infamous as ARYANS FROM THE STEPPES OF CENTRAL ASIA. It is nothing but the return of the NAGA PEOPLE to their original home.

My interpretaions of epic of Ramayana is that it happened around 4000BC. It is refered to as Battle of TEN KINGS in the chronology. The story of RAMAYANA is actually ---part fiction and part truth based on the BATTLE OF TEN KINGS---It took place in the region called SAPTA SINDHU ( from Indian Punjab to Afghanistan). Kindly refer to a book by Rajesh Kochhar ---an ex Surveyor general of India and a renowned archaeologist. It fits well into the logic if we consider that VALMIKI the author had his ASRAM at RAM TIRATH, near modern Amritsar in Indian Punjab. He spun a web around this battle of TEN KINGS. DASSEHRA ---the festival is celebrated as victory over TEN HEADS of RAVNA. Certainly, ravna had ten ASSOCIATES and NOT TEN HEADS. Actually the total strength of kings against SUDAS were 13 and he defeated them all.. I shall recount the story of TEN KINGS in comments section when the debate develops.

Interpolating data from my sources from RETURN OF THE ARYANS by BS Gidwani; HIDDEN HORIZONS---1000 Years of Indian History by Dr David Frawley and Dr NS Raja Ram; Vedic History of India by Rajesh Kochhar; History of India by John Keay an Indologist and British Historians and various other sources on the internet---I give out the brief Chronology of events in ancient India.

Indian SOCIAL MASS to give it a unique Cosmopolitan
society culture.

As for as the mystery of DRAVIDIANS is concerned ---it is a brainchild of Christian missionaries , led by one ROBERT CALDWEL who had done so in 1856 AD. Robert Caldwell, a renowned linguist, in his book “Grammar of the Dravidians or the People of South India, published in 1856, recognized 73 Dravidian languages spoken from South India to Baluchistan(PAKISTAN),Western Iran, Afghanistan and Urals. It is now believed they were the people who established Pre –Aryan or the HARAPPAN civilization .I call it the civilization of NAGA people who were the worshippers of lord Shiva. The VEDIC knowledge belongs to them which had been usurped by the ARYANS because by that time, say around 1900 BC to 2800 BC NATURAL UPHEAVALS had devastated the NAGA CIVILISATION.

The Origin of the word DRAVIDA is attributed to the Sanskrit word “DRAMILA” or “DAMILA”, which later corrupted to Tamil or Tamil speaking people. It has been done by Linguists and they have gone to the extent of equating these words with TAMIL or TARMIZ. Actually the word DRAVID was first used by KUMARILLA BHATTA in the 7th CENTURY AD in his SANSKRIT book 'TANTRIKAVATIKA'. Kumarilla, a hardcore BUDDHIST and a SANSKRIT scholar recognised five regiona as DRAVID-------namely, GUJARAT, MAHARASHTRA, TAMIL NADU, ANDHRA and KARNATKA. He considered these regions lacking in the knowledge of Sanskrit thus poor in knowledge-----DRI + VID ( Devoid of Knowledge). You can further read my note on this.

SPECTRUM OF SINO- INDIAN COLD WAR!

While India keeps dithering in her resolve to tackle China firmly, her Northern neighbor has been steadfastly moving towards making India a non-entity in global affairs. China has adopted a no non-sense approach and it treats her as a weak and unstable nation. Indian responses are not only poor to Chinese high handedness but smacks of awe and fear. It is not a secret that China strongly opposes India’s membership of UN Security Council. Further, it had been reported in the media, sometimes back, that Chinese troops had entered Indian border in Laddakh (Demochek village) and threatened the villagers and border road organization persons to stop developmental activities. China is in illegal occupation of a large chunk of Indian territory of Aksai Chin in J&K. China claims entire Arunachal Pradesh of India. Recently China has published a map showing Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin as Part of China. Chinese embassy in India has been issuing stapled visas to residents of J&K and Arunachal Pradesh. Are these acts aimed at generating peace or to create tension in the region? In order to engage India, China has embarked upon a three-pronged strategy:- No major military conflict with china in the near future other than the exploitation of India’s vulnerabilities by China as part of an ‘Outsourced war’ Encirclement and Containment of India. This is to be achieved by creation of hostile neighbors on the land borders and making a ‘Sting of pearls’ around peninsular India to dominate the sea routes in the Indian Ocean. This would not only isolate India but break her links with ASEAN and Africa. It seeks to roll back India’s ‘look East’ policy. To carry out encirclement, China has created a 'String of Pearls' around Indian coastline from Gwador in Pakistan to Hambantota in Sri Lanka to Sree Port (ARAKANS) in Myanmar and also in Thailand. This is an attempt to encircle and contain India. It wants to dominate the sea routes of trade in the Indian Ocean and checkmate India in her trade with Africa and ASEAN. China is helping Myanmar to get nuclear weapons with the help of North Korea. It has been creating a set of hostile nations on the periphery of India, from Pakistan and Nepal to Myanmar and Srilanka. It won over Sri Lanka by supporting her militarily in war against LTTE. Induction of some 7000-11000 troops in POK is towards this end. Breakup of India through ‘Outsourced War’. Induce internal implosion and create an external attrition. Internal implosion to be affected by exploiting militancy and insurgency, such as ULFA in Assam and Naga insurgency in the Nagaland, along with fast spreading Maoists/ Naxalites in the Centre and South India. External attrition to be caused by Pakistan- sponsored violence and Terrorism in Punjab, Kashmir and entire Northern and Western India. A Chinese defence strategist, Zhong Guo Zhan Lue Gang wrote an article, published in Chinese language on the internet, on August 08, 2009. Though the article was meant for domestic consumption of China but it was linked to Chinese international institute for Strategic studies (IISS). Therefore, it could not be ignored that it was not China’s official thinking. The article was later deleted from the website. The main thrust of the article was to break up India into 20-30 states. To do so, it advocated usage of hostile neighbors such as Pakistan and Maoist Nepal and cultivation of other countries around India. Besides, it sought to support insurgencies, such as ULFA and other North East separatist movements. Also read: China supports Pakistan's claim on Kashmir! Strangely, it also suggested creating separatist movement in West Bengal with the help of Bangla Desh. The Nandigram and Singur events of 2009 in West Bengal must be seen in this context of exploitation of internal dissent by China. ...it advocated usage of hostile neighbors such as Pakistan and Maoist Nepal and cultivation of other countries around India. Besides, it sought to support insurgencies, such as ULFA and other North East separatist movements. In fact, China seeks to use Pakistan as an instrument of ‘asymmetric war’ against India in a similar fashion as it herself seeks to battle it out for supremacy with USA. An ‘asymmetric’ war is the strategy adopted by a weaker nation against her more powerful adversary to curtail the advantages accruing to the powerful opponent. Ross Babbage an Australian defence strategist wrote in ‘The Australian’ that Asymmetric warfare was a tactics adopted by the weaker party in a conflict to inflict crippling costs on the strong party. China was doing this to USA through ‘anti access area denial’ strategy. It seeks to employ means which curtails the strength of stronger party. It therefore lays emphasis on cyber warfare, space warfare, submarines and missiles. No doubts, Pakistan keeps harping about use of nuclear weapons and ‘Good Taliban’ as her ‘Strategic Asset’, primarily to keep away India. Covert Cyber & Trade War. China has been covertly conducting ‘Cyber Warfare’ against India, aimed at affecting the command and control systems by virus attack on Indian official computers, either to make them dysfunctional or hack them to extract vital information. Towards this end, China has recently demonstrated her capability to shoot a satellite, which can cripple command and control systems based on satellite communications. Also, China has been carrying out a clandestine trade war to capture markets frequented by Indian goods---like the Nigerian Malaria drug incident, where spurious medicines were being sold under brand name India. We all know that some months back, China had tried to block aid to Arunachal Pradesh from Asian Development Bank. There is a hot debate in the media worldwide about an article, recently published in a Chinese ‘Qiushi Journal’, an official publication of communist party of China, which seemingly threatened her neighbors from Japan, Australia, Philippines to Vietnam and India to stop ganging up against China, which it believed was being orchestrated by USA. In fact, China warned her neighbors of a war, if she found her national interests being threatened. A specific mention was made of use of her economic might to harm the nations. Also read: China: is it enough to just watch? In conclusion, I see no major military conflict with china in the near future other than the exploitation of India’s vulnerabilities by China as part of an ‘Outsourced war’ or which I would like to call a “ designer war package” for India. I expect a spurt in the verbal spats as part of the Cold war between two Asian giants—more from China and muted response from India. In fact, this century is the century of a Cold War between two Asian neighbors, which has just begun. India can no more ignore deliberate Chinese acts of sending a contingent of PLA into Gilgit and getting into threatening postures. We have to respond by cultivating nations like Vietnam, Japan, Australia and USA. To counter China’s trump card of Pakistan, India has to pay more attention to Afghanistan.
