1. "-----Things came to a head at the end of October 1947 when raiders from the North West Frontier Province entered the state, killing, looting, and raping along. On October 26, they had reached the outskirts of Srinagar. Hari Singh agreed to sign the Instrument of Accession.On the same day a historic meeting was held in Delhi with Mountbatten, the governor general, as chairman. A young army colonel named Sam Manekshaw, who attended the meeting, recalled: 'As usual Nehru talked about the United Nations, Russia, Africa, God Almighty, everybody, until Sardar Patel lost his temper. He said, 'Jawaharlal, do you want Kashmir, or do you want to give it away?' He [Nehru] said, 'Of course, I want Kashmir.' Then he [Patel] said: 'Please give your orders.'-----------"

2. "--------In September, he ( Maharaja Hari singh ) decided to offer Kashmir's accession to India. This was refused by Nehru, who first wanted Sheikh Abdullah to be freed and installed as prime minister of the state. This was not acceptable to the maharaja.-----------"

       A blunder is a commity of judgmental errors committed against voices of sanity advising one against a course of action. It is therefore proper to assume that the person committing such errors was in full knowledge of adverse consequences of his actions. Kashmir blunder of JL Nehru has a pandora of multiple errors. Let me cite only four major mistakes to highlight the point. They are :- one, Indifference to Maharaja Hari Singh of Kashmir and affinity towards Shekhar Abdulla, thus driving away Hari Singh; two, over -enamoured by Earl Mountbatten ,s advice and thus delaying early military intervention by Indian Army; three, against military advice, stopping Indian Army and accepting Cease fire ,when so called " Tribal Raiders" from Pakistan were on the run and four, taking the Kashmir issue to UN on Mountbatten's "motivated advice" and that too under a wrong charter.

      Therefore it is a lie by Nehruvian Historians that Kashmir issue was solely created by Pakistan. It might have been initiated by Pakistan but JL NEHRU acted to prolong and sustain it to serve the purpose of  MOUNTBATTEN's hidden agenda, which was to create an 'arbitrator' s role for Britain in the subcontinent, once a JEWEL IN THE CROWN OF BRITISH EMPIRE. It is a fact of history that the major loser of SECOND WORLD WAR was neither Germany nor Japan but Great Britain, who was reduced to a third rate country at the end of Second world war. It was thus creating confusion over Kashmir to set a future role for herself to be counted as a world power.

      The island nation, which ruled the whole world and where the had sun never  set , as the saying went in those days, had its frontiers rolled into a small territory and became a surrogate of USA. Though, in 1947, it decided to give independence to India but it sought a future role for itself in the region by creating KASHMIR ISSUE by advising differently to three main stake holders in Kashmir, namely, Indian leadership of Nehru - Gandhi, MA JIinnah of Pakistan and Maharaja Hari Singh of Jammu and Kashmir.

     Thus, while Mountbatten constantly asked HARI SINGH to act according to the WILL OF HIS PEOPLE, indirectly  suggesting to him to join Pakistan. He knew Hari Singh won't agree because of his fears of a Muslim state. He was thus strengthening Maharaja's prejudices. On the other hand,he advised MA Jinnah, in Lahore, on November 02,1947 to desist from military intervention in Kashmir directly because it would lead to Pakistan being declared an AGRESSOR NATION by the world body. ( It is Not understood as to how the head of state of India was advising the head of a state of the enemy, against Indian interests, when two nations were at war----Alan Campbell Mountbatten's ADC, records in his diary of the Mountbatten years that Mountbatten had told MA Jinnah that he would take the issue to UN, through Indian government , thus saving Pakistan from embarrassment  of being termed as an aggressor)

       On the other hand, he constantly goaded Nehru- Gandhi combine to take moralistic stand of NOT accepting Kashmir's accession till ratified by WILL OF THE PEOPLE. When Maharaja offered to accede to India in September 1947, it was rejected by Nehru because he wanted Sheikh Abdulla to be released from jail and made Prime Minister of J& K state. This included not only sidelining Maharaja Hari singh but also dilly dallying of military action by Indian army to allow "tribal raiders" to close in to Srinagar.

       The biggest ruse was to ask Nehru to take the dispute under a wrong charter of UN i.e. TO RESOLVE THE DISPUTE and NOT TO THROW OUT THE AGGRESSOR. Nehru fell for the bait against the advice of his ministerial colleagues and it continues to haunt India, even today. Pakistan continues to harp about "PLEBISCITE", which Nehru's India had agreed to, if UN resolution of August 1948 was to be implemented, in which Pakistan was asked to pull out its forces from Kashmir first before the Plebiscite was to be carried out. Pakistan did not do so and India was saved the embarasment but it has become a trouble spot for the two nations. Kashmir, thus,is an outright product of acts of omission and commission of JL Nehru.

       Let me give you certain basic features of the issue to understand it better. To understand the Kashmir blunder, one ought to understand the political landscape of South Asia in 1947. Indian subcontinent, then, had two political arrangements i.e.namely, one 'British India', directly governed by British Monarchy; two,'Princely India', some 562 princely states, which were tied to British empire through "Paramountcy Pacts", where British Monarch had indirect control over the princely states through the British regents . Kashmir was one such state.

     When the Indian act of independence was passed by British Parliament in June 1947, it divided British India into two dominions, namely, India and Pakistan. The Princely states were given the option to join either of the dominion or stay independent. The important clause was if at the midnight hour of August 14/15, 1947 , any princely state who did not join either of the dominion, the "paramountcy pact" with British Monarch would collapse and the said state would be deemed to be independent and sovereign.

      Most of the princely states opted to join India through untiring efforts of Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel but for some like Jammu & Kashmir. Moralistic stand of Nehru -Gandhi combine had driven away Maharaja Hari Singh because Nehru-Gandhi favored SHEIKH ABDULLA, whom they considered as the WILL OF THE PEOPLE. Abdulla advocated a Sovereign Jammu & Kashmir minus the Maharaja. It has been highlighted in the quote above, how Maharaja Hari Singh's offer in September1947 was rejected by Nehru. This led to Maharaja Hari singh carving out an independent path. It should have been evident to Nehru that Abdulla and HARI SINGH, both had rejected joining Pakistan----- so an effort should have been made to convince Maharaja to opt for India---- since SHEIKH ABDULLA was close to him, he could have been easily won over. But no such effort was made and on August 15, 1947, J&K was deemed to be an independent state , according to Indian independence act passed by British Parliament. NEHRU-GANDHI combine had definitely erred.

      On 24/25 October 1947, " Tribal raiders" from Pakistan led by General TARIQ ALI, who was none other than Major General AKRAM KHAN of Pakistan Army, invaded Kashmir. He was later accused of RAWALPINDI CONSPIRACY in Pakistan and disgraced. He wrote the book, " Tribal raiders in Kashmir". The resistance by state force collapsed like nine pins. Raiders came to Baramulla and created a Mayhem there.

       Prior to this, Gilgit was annexed by Pakistan with the direct support of British officers of the Gilgit garrison of J&K state forces. Thus connivance of Mountbatten and General Gracey, COAS of Pakistan army, then, can not be ruled out. It was not possible without their coaxing and advice. This should have sent a warning signal to NEHRU -GANDHI but they did not react because of their moralistic stand. The fact is, they had accepted in their hearts to concede Kashmir to Pakistan because of MUSLIM MAJORITY. Their moralistic stand was more important to them than the Indian interests.

      Reverting to Tribal raid in Kashmir, Maharaja Hari Singh pleaded for Indian military intervention, on October 25,1947, But Nehru,under advice from Mountbatten refused to immediately act because the state had not acceded to India. Instead VP MENON along with Lt Col MANEKSHAW were sent to assess the situation. They advocated immediate intervention, if India did not want Kashmir to fall to Pakistan. Mountbatten advised against this as Maharaja had not signed the accession. Thus MENON was again sent back to get Hari Singh's signatures on accession documents. He returned on October 26, 1947. This time Mountbatten gave military and historical reasons against intervention.

     While cabinet was debating, whether to intervene or not, SARDAR PATEL asked Nehru, , "Do you want KASHMIR or NOT?" Nehru sheepishly said, "YES". Sardar Patel turned to Lt Col MANEKSHAW and asked him to get moving by saying, " you have your orders!". MANEKSHAW was present in that meeting as a representative of Military Operation branch of Army HQ because contingent of Indian Army was waiting for two days at DELHI AIRPORT. ( Full impressions of Sam Manekshaw  of that meeting have been given in the quote above). Thus Sardar Patel made the decision to intervene. This has been described in detail in Manekshaw,s biography by General DEPENDER SINGH, his staff officer and later army commander Western command.

      In the nick of time, Indian contingent reached Srinagar, when RAIDERS were just miles away from the Srinagar air port. Two vital days had been lost by India due to unwanted weightage  given to MOUNTBATTEN's advice. Luckily TRIBAL RAIDERS had made a tactical error in halting at BARAMULLAH for two days. This gave the adequate time for India to go through the delaying tactics of Mountbatten and withstand Nehru's inability to see through it. Probably Nehru relied too much on MOUNTBATTEN's wisdom or it might be Edviwina's influence on Nehru.

     In SLENDER WAS THE THREAD, Lt General LP Sen describes the situation in Kashmir of hopelessness when Indian army entered the scene. General Akram Khan of Pakistan had certainly failed in controlling this motley crowd of exservicemen , masquerading as tribal raiders, to push them to Srinagar. This failure had allowed Indian Army to save Kadhmir. Thereafter, it was chasing of the raiders out of Kashmir followed by direct intervention by Pakistan army. The raiders were pushed back across the Kishanganga river in Uri sector by Noveber 1947..

      Militarily, it was opportune to chase them out of other J&K territories but for  Nehru's intervention to halt the Indian army against the military advice. It is believed it was Sheikh Abdulla who gave this advice to Nehru because the valley of Kashmir ends there. Beyond this it was an extension of Western Punjab ,dominated by Punjabi Muslims, who did not accept ABDULLA's leadership. It was his personal interest and Nehru fell for the bait.

      As the war raged, Mountbatten suggested to Nehru to take the issue to UNO. This was objected to by Sardar Patel, Acharya Kriplani, Rajagopalachari and other cabinet colleagues but Nehru did not listen. Sardar Patel resigned . He was prevailed upon by MK Gandhi to withdraw his resignation. Nehru wanted to create his image of a man of peace and he took the issue to UNO on December 23, 1947, under a WRONG charter because of the ill-advice of Mountbatten. He prefered SETTLING OF DISPUTE over EVICTION OF AGGRESSOR. The rest is history. Thus, dispute it became and it continues to be so. This was Himalyan blunder and an unpardonable act of Nehru.

      On August 13, 1948, UN Security Council passed resolution for India and Pakistan to cease hostilities with following provions :-

(a) Pakistan to pull out of J&K territories, then,

(b) India to reduce her troops,

(c) India to carry out a plebiscite in Kashmir whether they want to join India or Pakistan.

       Nehru's India accepted the resolution but Pakistan rejected the same. It is this acceptance of India which Kashmiri separatists and Pakistan keep harping about NEHRU's PROMISE to UNO for Plebiscite. India should not have accepted clause "c" because legally KASHMIR HAD ACCEDED TO INDIA, once Maharaja had signed the accession document. Unfortunately, this accession was made CONDITIONAL by NEHRU on MOUNTBATTEN's advice, wherein it was stated that at appropriate time, India would carry out a referendum to know WILL OF THE PEOPLE. What a joke? Why was this only for Kadhmir? Why not for Junagadh or Hyderabad or other Indian states? So what if they were Hindu majority states? Why was this special concession to Kashmir?

      Not only this, Kashmir was allowed its own Prime minister and SADR-E-RIYASAT---- with many more other provisions such as article 370 which disallows other Indians to buy any property in J& K, while the citizens of this state can buy anything anywhere. Such provisions definitely militated against states real integration into India and they continue to do so even today. These provisions were the signboard for separatist movement.

      What was the need for all these provisions? It was the greatest strategical folly of Nehru, which on inciting by Pakistan, fires Kashmiri separatists imagination even today. This is the reason that Pakistan inspired AZADI MOVEMENT started in Kashmir in 1989-90. It has been 20-22 years that Kashmir is burning and India is suffering. The seeds of this suffering lie in the biggest folly of Nehru to make KASHMIR ACCESSION CONDITIONAL.

TELL ME O' SOLDIERS!

GREAT BETRAYAL of Veterans by the Nation, a few questions to SOLDIERS by me in my latest poem----
TELL ME O' SOLDIERS!-----
Promises galore to the soldiers by the leaders and the nation!
When the crisis blow away, soldiers are invariably forgotten ;
Tell me ,O Soldiers! Do you feel you are treated like beggars--
When dream of 'One Rank - One Pension' arrogantly shattered?
While Unheard, uncared, unsung dies a soldier on a foreign soil,
The dishonest and corrupt enjoy the fruits of his sweat and toil;
Tell me O' Soldiers! Do you think that you die for nation's cause?
Even though corocodile tears would be shed at your family's loss?
A soldier falls to bullets of insurgents in the jungles of North East,
Hardly anyone does care as if he was some kind of a sacrificial beast!
Tell me o' soldiers! How do you think you protect the constitution?
While the leaders you lay your life for, weaken its very foundations!
A soldier is killed on the snow capped mountains of Siachen glacier,
Grateful nation's duty ends when a citation is placed in his dossier;
Tell me O'soldiers! What is the value of the medal in dead man's life?
In civil street, it has no value, it just gives a sense of false pride!
A soldier is tasked to carry out search and destroy mission in Kashmir;
Human rights acivists concoct story of rape and shed corocodile tears;
Tell me O' soldiers!Do you hail from "Heavens" without any human vices?
Why do they expect Zero-Error conduct from you even in national crisis?
When the floods come or the earth quake hits,they ask for soldier's aid,
Even when a child falls into a pit, soldiers mustered like household maids;
Tell me O' soldiers! Have you ever thought what bureaucrats about you say?
Soldiering is no big deal and only fools and idiots join armed forces today.

PRATIBHA TAI , WILL YOU EMULATE HARRY TRUMAN, 43rd PRESIDENT OF USA?

PRATIBHA TAI, WILL YOU EMULATE HARRY TRUMAN--- EX PRESIDENT OF USA? Jul 24 2012  | Views 14 |  Leave a Comment  | Report Abuse Tags: harry truman  It was a good mail forward ---- thought of sharing with you and asking our PRESIDENT PRATIBHA PATIL TO EMULATE HARRY TRUMAN, 43rd PRESIDENT OF USA.             Harry Truman was a different kind of President.  He probably made as many, or more important decisions regarding the history of the USA as any of the other 42 Presidents preceding him.  However, a measure of his greatness may rest on what he did after he left the White House.         The only asset he had when he died was the house he lived in, which was in  Independence Missouri .  His wife had inherited the house from her mother and father and other than their years in the White House, they lived their entire lives there.        When he retired from office in 1952 his income was a U.S. Army pension reported to have been $13,507.72 a year.  Congress, noting that he was paying for his stamps and personally licking them, granted him an 'allowance' and, later, a retroactive pension of $25,000 per year. After President Eisenhower was inaugurated,  Harry and Bess drove home to Missouri by themselves.  There was no Secret Service following them. When offered corporate positions at large salaries, he declined, stating, "You don't want me.  You want the office of the President, and that doesn't belong to me.  It belongs to the American people and it's not for sale." Even later, on May 6, 1971, when Congress was preparing to award him the Medal of Honor on his 87th birthday, he refused to accept it, writing, "I don't consider that I have done anything which should be the reason for any award, Congressional or otherwise." As president he paid for all of his own travel expenses and food. Modern politicians have found a new level of success in cashing in on the Presidency, resulting in untold wealth.  Today, many in Congress also have found a way to become quite wealthy while en joying the fruits of their offices. Political offices are now for sale (cf. Illinois ). Good old Harry Truman was correct when he observed, "My choices in life were either to be a piano player in a whore house or a politician.  And to tell the truth, there's hardly any difference! © rajee kushwaha., all rights reserved. WE HAVE FAITH IN INDIAN JUDICIAL SYSTEM---- IS IT MISPLACED?

            General impression of Indian judicial system now-a-days is : INDIAN JUDICIAL SYSTEM IS HOSTILE TOWARDS COMMON MAN AND GENERAL PUBLIC BUT HOSPITABLE TO RICH, POWERFUL AND DISHONEST.
      Despite this, still,Indian public have a tremendous faith in Indian judiciary. Is it misplaced? If you ask some legal luminaries, they would rubbish the question. If you persist as to why was this question being asked by the intellectuals and netizens? Luminaries of law dismiss it saying, "Stupid, they are crying babies on the Internet, who in reality , never live in REAL WORLD. They belong to a VIRTUAL WORLD, where everything is UNREAL "
      Ok, then, I say,"let me put it this way as to why legal system was considered blind?" Even this is dismissed as "out of context." I say with a lot of reservation that I think, probably, I was blind, for failing to see the "obvious". The fact is that our Legal System was NOT only blind, it was deaf and dumb  also. It does not see; does not hear and it does not speak.
     It has been designed so because what else the "copy cats" can do? It is so because our laws are of a Western Society, copied blindly for Indian 'society of diversity'. There has to be a mismatch and it shows. Now look at it this way : How can you ask people of a hot climate in AFRICA to wear clothes meant for ALASKANS?
      Same thing is with the Indian laws. They were meant for a different society in different times but brought into India by COLONIAL MASTERS and blindly copied by our "copy cats" and they continue to haunt Indians. Therefore Law has to be blind! You don't agree. It is your prerogative.
       Ok, let me ask a legal luminary----- we have amongst us, at Sulekha, an honorable retired judge of a high court---- retired Justice Nam Joshi. I am sure, he could illuminate us on this subject. The question to you, sir,is :        DOES OUR JUDICIARY ABIDE BY THIS PRINCIPLE OF LEGAL SYSTEM LITERALLY --- -------LET A HUNDRED CRIMINALS GO SCOT FREE BUT NO INNOCENTS BE PUNISHED.
       What a principle? But , what happens in reality is actually the absolute opposite of it. I put it this way. A HUNDRED INNOCENTS ARE PUNISHED BEFORE A SMALL TIME CROOK GOES TO JAIL. EVEN THEN, A BIG TIME CROOK HAS NEVER EVER BEEN PUNISHED IN INDIA. Even Afzal Guru and Ajmal Kasab, the convicted murdrers, are enjoying the hospitality of Indian legal system, while small times thieves or even innocents are framed up and thrown into jail for eternity.
      You saw what happened in Mumbai, some two years back, when MNS got after North Indians from UP and BIHAR----Our reverent judiciary and judges just turned their heads and looked the other way, when ruffians of Raj Thakrey publicly beat Biharis and people of UP. They are designed to act as blindmen. I  can keep on quoting these instances but I am constrained by space here. We are a great democracy.  We remain enmeshed in frills of justice, while big time criminals commit broad day light rape of ' MOTHER INDIA' . Hail ,Indian Democracy! Hail Indian legal system !!
       Sorry , sorry Nam joshi, sir, the more important question is : SHOULD JUDGES REMAIN BLINDED BY LEGAL PROVISIONS OR SHOULD THEY  LISTEN TO THEIR CONSCIENCE? ( I hope you won't press for Contempt of court---it was just an innocent question by a layman----I am told high court judges have the powers to hold courts anywhere they go-----Wow! all the more reasons they should act as per their conscience!)            You would naturally shoot at me a query : why do you ask this ? Simple, sir! The nation thinks that likes of A.Raja, Suresh Kalmadi, Mayawati and many more are NO INNOCENTS. Why are the courts releasing them under all sorts of funny orders? Don't our honorable dispenser of justice have no conscience? Don't they see what a common man sees?
       Look at the way Mayawati has been let off in disproportionate assets case? This has been done by the apex court. It asks CBI as to why did it investigate the case when SC did not ask for it? Sir, what is more important the legal technicality or the basic facts which have come out?       The evidence is that her assets rose 50 times from Rs. One Crore to Rs. 50 Crores in one year. And it is now a fact that her assets since 2003 have risen to be around Rs.111 Crores. This is a rise of 100 percent in nine years. What was her source of income? Why do the judges punish poor lame duck government servant of having a flat here or a car there? Don't the judges see that this was not possible through straight means but by exploiting her official position?         Here is what an innocent but a concerned friend give out some details of the case :        Let us see the case of Mayawati. The SC had ordered CBI to register an FIR  and enquire into the Taj Corridor case, on 18 September 2003. On 5 October  2003, the CBI registered two cases, No 18 relating to the Taj Corridor and  No 19 relating to Disproportionate Assets (DA) under the Prevention of  Corruption Act.        The Taj Corridor case against Mayawati failed because CBI did not pursue it after having collected evidence on it for FOUR YEARS, from 2003 to 2007. The central Government changed, so did the principles of Indian legal system. The Governor of UP, TV Rajeshwar, in June 2007, in his 23 page order, had stated that the 17 crore was sanctioned by the Central Govt through the PSU. Therefore, no case was considered against Mayawati.
      Though the advocates challenged the Governor’s Order,the Special Judge refused to take cognisance, since the CBI kept silent, because only the Law Ministry can permit it to challenge the Governor’s order. The political environment at that time required Mayawati’s support to UPA.    As for the second case, No 19 on DA, Mayawati had challenged the same in the Allahabad High Court. On 22 October 2003, the Court only directed that she should not be arrested till the investigations were over.
       In addition,the SC itself, when a case was filed for the status report on the cases, on 19 July 2004, gave directions to the CBI, to complete investigations on case No 18( Taj corridor)in 8 weeks and for Case No 19,(the DA case)in three months.
      According to CBI, the assets of Mayawati increased fifty fold, from one Crore in 2003 to 50 crore in 2007. In 2012, as per her own affidavit filed along with her nomination papers for Rajya Sabha, her wealth stands at 111.64 crores.     A
      fter 9 long years of labour, why should SC quash the FIR itself? I am an ignorant Indian. Why should a technical legality allow an established crime go unpunished but also make waste of the taxpayers money spent on investigation for Nine years? Will some legal luminary on Sulekha apply their minds to answer this simple query? Do I take it that Legal system in India is open to manipulations by the powerful people? To cite a few recent cases, General VK's age row, bail to Kalmadi and A. Raja & Co, non making of PC a co-accused despite all the evidence provided and judicial inaction to take suo-motto notices in number of cases of open fraud, seem to give this impressions !

SMART WARS AND SMART SOLDIERS OF THE FUTURE!

A TEST BLOG-----SMART SOLDIERS AND SMART WARS OF THE FUTURE! Jul 6 2012  | Views 68 |  Comments  (1)  | Report Abuse        NOTE: all information culled out from newspapers and Internet.         Recently Britain has claimed that it had developed a " smart" fighter jet which won,t need a pilot . This aircraft would be commissioned into British air force by 2013. It would revolutionize the future wars, whether by " regular" or "irregular" soldiers----- read non- state actors or the terrorists. This invention is nothing but a further advancement on DRONE or PTA ( Pilotless Aircraft) technology, which is in use in Afghanistan. It has given a new dimension to future wars.           "Dumb Soldiers" move on! Days of FRONLINE BRAVERY and GALLANTARY are over. We have the SMART SOLDIERS now fighting a future war with NO "REAR" and NO" FRONT". Have the days of uniformed soldiers in olive green, monkey dancing behind enemy lines or knocking out enemy's war potential, come to an end? It might NOT seem immediately so but the advent of pilotless vehicles and smart ammonutions, along with CYBER SOLDIERS, the very dimensions of war has transformed tremendously. There is a total shift in war-making and fighting. Therefore the days of battle field bravery and gallantary are over. Move away award-seeking Generals and fake GURUS of Victories. Smart soldiers are here ---thousands of miles away from the battle fronts------to deliver the knock out blow to the enemy.            Pilotless vehicles can be guided and controlled by smart soldiers as they control NASA Flights to celestial bodies, like Mars, Venus and Saturns. Loaded with adeaquate weapons with accurate description of the target , they would create havoc in enemy lines. There would be no place to hide.           Glimpses of it we saw in Iraq War when Saddam Hussein's DUMB ARMY fell like nine pins to USA's Synchronised army. Iraq war had removed the distinction between "FRONTS" and "REARS" of the war. We are also witnessing the same in Afghanistan and iraq, where COUNTER-TERRORISM is being fought by these REMOTE SOLDIERS. These rear echelon soldiers are the REAL HEROS of Modern war. The use of DRONES would explain the shape of things to come. I am providing you a link, as I can not post the video, watch how SMART SOLDIERS smash their enemy.   READ BELOW BEFORE OPENING THE ATTACHMENT------ The female drone controller is actually flying the aircraft. Her flight instruments screen is located in the upper left of the lower central large monitor screen. The other screens are views from the drone itself.The control booths or rooms are made in Garland , TEXAS by Raytheon .For non-pilots, these controllers are in Nevada and each is flying a drone on the other side of the world thousands of miles away, in the combat zone in Iraq and Afghanistan . Their left hand is on the throttle controlling the drone's engine. The right hand is flying the plane. All the buttons used to fly the drone are located on the   joystick. The controller never removes his or her hand from the throttle.Kill a Taliban leader then go home for lunch or dinner! Welcome to the new world. Imagine how big the communication pipe has to be to pump all the data necessary to perform these complicated tasks through it on the other side of the world in REAL TIME. It is not a modem you or I will ever get our hands on at Radio Shack !!! This is modern warfare.Today's headline: Missiles fired fromNevada controlled drone aircraft kill Taliban leader in Afghanistan .Now watch how   www.youtube.com/watch and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSY3VxdSz5s&feature=related   An unmanned aerial combat drone developed by Boeing has successfully completed its first flight at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Called the Boeing Phantom Ray, the aircraft is designed to support several potential missions including surveillance and attack.Boeing says its Phantom Ray flew for 17 minutes, reaching an altitude of 7,500 feet and a speed of 178 knots, or 205 miles per hour.The Unmanned Aerial System, or UAS, has been in development since mid-2008, and the first test flight on April 27 was designed to demonstrate its basic airworthiness. Additional flights, ultimately taking the UAS to 40,000 feet at nearly the speed of sound, will take place over the next few weeks. The Phantom Ray has not been developed for any specific mission and Boeing is testing it at its own expense. The company says it will serve as a platform for a variety of scenarios involving reconnaissance, strike or electronic attack. Drones similar to the Phantom Ray have been in use over Afghanistan and Pakistan in recent years. The aircraft's delta wing shape allows it to evade radar and its deeply embedded engine reduces heat and noise making it very difficult to detect. The aircraft is flown by an operator on the ground via a computer, programmed to tell the UAV where to fly, when to deploy its payload, and when to return to base. At 36 feet long with a wingspan of 50 feet, it is also designed for inflight refuelling.   © rajee kushwaha

SECULARISM AND POLITICAL CONDOMS OF INDIA!

SECULARISM AND POLITICAL CONDOMS------ SOME RANDOM SHOTS! Jun 21 2012  | Views 294 |  Comments  (9)  | Report Abuse        What does secularism mean in Indian context? Here is what I feel :      It is a term used to :-      (a) Keep Muslim community illiterate and backward with the sole purpose of garnering their votes.     (b)  keep the other minorities in constant fear of " Imagined Hindu majority" which in reality does not exist. (There is NO Hindu religion like ISLAM, CHRISTANITY or even JUDAISM. "Hindu", as in current use, is a divided entity into castes, subcastes, 'Gotras' 'sub gotras' and other regional- specific varients, who have their own guiding principles unlike Muslims and Christians)      Congress, the longest ruling party of India, is an expert in the political use of this term, Secularism, and they have been able to exploit it cleverly since the early 80s of the last Century. Surprisingly , other parties have also picked up this tantrum. However , most of them do not realize that Congress is one step ahead of them. They use these parties as POLITICAL CONDOMS.      Non - Congress politicians have NOT learnt any lessons from Charan Singh experience in 1979 ;Chandrasekhar experience in 1990 and Deve Gowda/ IK Gujral experience of 1997--- Congress is an expert in USING and THROWING people and organizations ---- but there is something in this HONEY BEE WEB, nay MONEY BEE WEB of Congress that despite being used and thrown ---- LAALUS, MAYA'S, ,KARUNANIDHIS, PASWAN, ABDULLAS OF KASHMIR and many more such regional satraps continue to desperately cling to it.     The MODUS OPERANDI of Congress is to allow these satraps to loot the public while they are in government and then used the CBI and IB TO BLACKMAIL them. These DOORMATS of Congress keep harping about SECULARISM------ a Congress MANTRA to keep the nation divided on UNFOUNDED FEARS CREATED for MINORITIES. Some of them can not even spell out the word SECULARISM.       Latest pin up BOYS of Congress  , besides Mulayam Singh Yadav, are NITISH KUMAR and  .YEDDIRUIPPA. Surprisingly, Babu Singh Kushwaha must be crying at his fate, for Congress did not show any use for him, as it is doing for YEDDIRUIPPA.  If there was ever a NOBLE PRIZE for making POLITICAL DUDS, I would certainly recommend Congress party of India. It sure knows the use of political condoms.      Mamta Bannerjee has realised as to how foolish she had been in UNDERSESTIMATING CONGRESS . She thought she could arm twist the Congress and UPA. Little did she realise that Congress had only a limited use for her. Since Congress has found a more willing partner in Mulayam Singh Yadav-----Mamta's utility was no more felt------She is in such a position now that she does not even know if she was coming or going.      Mamta Bannerjee claimed , so said Times of India news item, that  a lot of under hand deals, manipulations and exchange of big money was taking place for July 19, 2012, Presidential elections.  She ought to know this.  I agree with Mamta B.---- Whatever her style of functioning, she is upright and honest---- she threw out the CORRUPT and communal COMMIES--- using their weapon of strikes, hold-ups and agitations. I admire her for this but she failed to understand congress, though she comes from the same party.      Secularism is a convenient tool devised to keep opposition divided. Fools in BJP and RSS do not understand this. They have to take two steps towards Muslims to break this log jam. I say TWO STEPS because then, only Muslims would CONSIDER  to listen to them. Joining and voting for BJP might be a far cry as yet. Without broadbasing itself, BJP or NDA can not think of taking on the Congress.      The so called SECULARISTSi.e. Congress, Left, , DMK, SP, RJD, BSP etc are only fooling the people to garner MUSLIM votes. Illiteracy amongst majority of Muslims and their religious orthodoxy helps these uncouth and unprincipled political parties. TO KEEP MUSLIMS BACKWARD AND ILLITERATE IS THEIR SOLE AGENDA , SO AS TO EASILY EXPLOIT THEM ON DANGERS OF HINDU MAJORITY. Rather than teaching them HOW TO FISH, they offer the community lobes of fish to satiate their hunger.In fact the community has been deliberately made dependent on political doles. They have succeeded because of selfish Muslim leaders.     Mulayam thinks his luring and ditching Mamta was a master stroke. He doesn't realise that he is nothing but a DISPOSABLE ITEM of USE for the Congress.  Mulayam Singh  Yadav first, teamed up with Mamta Bannerjea to denounce the candidacy of Parnab Mukherjee for the post of President of India, then he suddenly made a 180 degree turn and backed him up. What happened? It was to save his son ---a first time cM of UP,  from menacing intrigues of Congress. After all they all promote their families through the POLITICAL CIRCUS, which is India. Karuna Nidhi, Mulayam, PS Badal, Chautala, Ajit singh, Jagmohan reddi, and many more----they are all the Dynastic kings of Political Kingdoms , now flourushing in India.       Politics is a family business in India---- and in family- business- ethos, merit has no relevance--- baton passes from father to son/ daughter. Did you ever wonder as to what was the real cause of poor governance or miss governance in India? It is the rise of ONE- LEADER PARTIES AND THEIR DYNASTIC TENDENCIES. In the politics of HORSE TRADING in this country, congress has the large expertise--- it can buy and kick people like MS YADAV or MAMTA B.--- because they suit their plans---- Indian people are the biggest fools who support such salable politicians. They should know what awaits them post 2014. As the saying goes LIKE PEOPLE , LIKE LEADERS-------- Indian people deserve the leaders they have------- why cry and crib , if you are prepared to sell your vote for a bottle of WHISKY or a laptop, TV, COMPUTER or such freebies. Ask me , it is the Indian public who should be held responsible for rampant corruption, violence and terrorism. It is pointless blaming politicians! Check out the RASCAL IS WITHIN EACH ONE OF US!!     If some of us, whether individuals or Communities and organisations are being used as CONDOMS by politicians or the political parties then, fault lay with us-----it lay with the wrong usage of the word SECULARISM ----And we do not realise what we call secularism is actually a synonym of  CONDOM-----nothing more, nothing less! SECULARISM AND POLITICAL CONDOMS------ SOME RANDOM SHOTS! Jun 21 2012  | Views 294 |  Comments  (9)   Hillol Das posted 2 days ago Rajee sir, fantastic analysis of current Indian political scenario. I strongly believe we are at the socio-political crossroads now. We do not know which way we are going or which way to take. A big disaster is looming large and waiting to happen unless some miraculous act happnes, which is unlikely. See the the current support base of Anna Hazare. By the way, you missed one - two big names while mentioning dynastic politics. Sharad Pawar and also presidential aspirant Pranab Mukherjee. In regional level there are many. In Maharashtra, there is Excise Minister Mr. Ganesh Naik, whose elder son is MP from Thane Loksabha constituency, younger son is MLA from Airoli assembly constituency and his bhatija (Brother's son) is Mayor of Navi Mumbai city. The worst multi-billion dollar looters are the Congress leaders and not other Party leaders who are pickpockets comparatively. At the top of that is the Dynasty. Rajeeji, the problem starts from there and not from the people. The people are ulloos, of course. But you cannot eliminate people but you can get rid of the evil Dynasty. Why not Congressmen throw the Dynasty out and run India with Indian blood? Top Congressmen are happy that they can get the KGB money tap opened whenever they want, and Sonia will open the tap for them. The boot-licking happens only because of this. The Regional satraps are child-play for the Queen Bee which has the tap for billions of dollars. Their basic greed is alrteady fulfilled but to establish some heredity rights the obeisance and secularist ideology serves a great purpose ! Nitish is the latest devotee with Lallu and Mulayam having already tested its efficacy . But the high sounding word is hardly understood since it is always laced with some hidden privileges that keep the minorities bound in its silken embrace. Robert Caldwell, a renowned linguist, in his book “Grammar of the Dravidians or the People of South India, published in 1856, recognized 73 Dravidian languages spoken from South India to Baluchistan(PAKISTAN),Western Iran, Afghanistan and Urals. It is now believed they were the people who established Pre –Aryan or the HARAPPAN civilization .I call it the civilization of NAGA people who were the worshippers of Lord Shiva. The VEDIC knowledge belongs to them which had been usurped by the ARYANS because by that time, say around 1900 BC to 2800 BC NATURAL UPHEAVALS had devastated the NAGA CIVILISATION.

China's India strategy!

While India keeps dithering in her resolve to tackle China firmly, her Northern neighbor has been steadfastly moving towards making India a non-entity in global affairs. China has adopted a no non-sense approach and it treats her as a weak and unstable nation. Indian responses are not only poor to Chinese high handedness but smacks of awe and fear. It is not a secret that China strongly opposes India’s membership of UN Security Council. Further, it had been reported in the media, sometimes back, that Chinese troops had entered Indian border in Laddakh (Demochek village) and threatened the villagers and border road organization persons to stop developmental activities. China is in illegal occupation of a large chunk of Indian territory of Aksai Chin in J&K. China claims entire Arunachal Pradesh of India. Recently China has published a map showing Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin as Part of China. Chinese embassy in India has been issuing stapled visas to residents of J&K and Arunachal Pradesh. Are these acts aimed at generating peace or to create tension in the region? In order to engage India, China has embarked upon a three-pronged strategy:- No major military conflict with china in the near future other than the exploitation of India’s vulnerabilities by China as part of an ‘Outsourced war’ Encirclement and Containment of India. This is to be achieved by creation of hostile neighbors on the land borders and making a ‘Sting of pearls’ around peninsular India to dominate the sea routes in the Indian Ocean. This would not only isolate India but break her links with ASEAN and Africa. It seeks to roll back India’s ‘look East’ policy. To carry out encirclement, China has created a 'String of Pearls' around Indian coastline from Gwador in Pakistan to Hambantota in Sri Lanka to Sree Port (ARAKANS) in Myanmar and also in Thailand. This is an attempt to encircle and contain India. It wants to dominate the sea routes of trade in the Indian Ocean and checkmate India in her trade with Africa and ASEAN. China is helping Myanmar to get nuclear weapons with the help of North Korea. It has been creating a set of hostile nations on the periphery of India, from Pakistan and Nepal to Myanmar and Srilanka. It won over Sri Lanka by supporting her militarily in war against LTTE. Induction of some 7000-11000 troops in POK is towards this end. Breakup of India through ‘Outsourced War’. Induce internal implosion and create an external attrition. Internal implosion to be affected by exploiting militancy and insurgency, such as ULFA in Assam and Naga insurgency in the Nagaland, along with fast spreading Maoists/ Naxalites in the Centre and South India. External attrition to be caused by Pakistan- sponsored violence and Terrorism in Punjab, Kashmir and entire Northern and Western India. A Chinese defence strategist, Zhong Guo Zhan Lue Gang wrote an article, published in Chinese language on the internet, on August 08, 2009. Though the article was meant for domestic consumption of China but it was linked to Chinese international institute for Strategic studies (IISS). Therefore, it could not be ignored that it was not China’s official thinking. The article was later deleted from the website. The main thrust of the article was to break up India into 20-30 states. To do so, it advocated usage of hostile neighbors such as Pakistan and Maoist Nepal and cultivation of other countries around India. Besides, it sought to support insurgencies, such as ULFA and other North East separatist movements. Also read: China supports Pakistan's claim on Kashmir! Strangely, it also suggested creating separatist movement in West Bengal with the help of Bangla Desh. The Nandigram and Singur events of 2009 in West Bengal must be seen in this context of exploitation of internal dissent by China. ...it advocated usage of hostile neighbors such as Pakistan and Maoist Nepal and cultivation of other countries around India. Besides, it sought to support insurgencies, such as ULFA and other North East separatist movements. In fact, China seeks to use Pakistan as an instrument of ‘asymmetric war’ against India in a similar fashion as it herself seeks to battle it out for supremacy with USA. An ‘asymmetric’ war is the strategy adopted by a weaker nation against her more powerful adversary to curtail the advantages accruing to the powerful opponent. Ross Babbage an Australian defence strategist wrote in ‘The Australian’ that Asymmetric warfare was a tactics adopted by the weaker party in a conflict to inflict crippling costs on the strong party. China was doing this to USA through ‘anti access area denial’ strategy. It seeks to employ means which curtails the strength of stronger party. It therefore lays emphasis on cyber warfare, space warfare, submarines and missiles. No doubts, Pakistan keeps harping about use of nuclear weapons and ‘Good Taliban’ as her ‘Strategic Asset’, primarily to keep away India. Covert Cyber & Trade War. China has been covertly conducting ‘Cyber Warfare’ against India, aimed at affecting the command and control systems by virus attack on Indian official computers, either to make them dysfunctional or hack them to extract vital information. Towards this end, China has recently demonstrated her capability to shoot a satellite, which can cripple command and control systems based on satellite communications. Also, China has been carrying out a clandestine trade war to capture markets frequented by Indian goods---like the Nigerian Malaria drug incident, where spurious medicines were being sold under brand name India. We all know that some months back, China had tried to block aid to Arunachal Pradesh from Asian Development Bank. There is a hot debate in the media worldwide about an article, recently published in a Chinese ‘Qiushi Journal’, an official publication of communist party of China, which seemingly threatened her neighbors from Japan, Australia, Philippines to Vietnam and India to stop ganging up against China, which it believed was being orchestrated by USA. In fact, China warned her neighbors of a war, if she found her national interests being threatened. A specific mention was made of use of her economic might to harm the nations. Also read: China: is it enough to just watch? In conclusion, I see no major military conflict with china in the near future other than the exploitation of India’s vulnerabilities by China as part of an ‘Outsourced war’ or which I would like to call a “ designer war package” for India. I expect a spurt in the verbal spats as part of the Cold war between two Asian giants—more from China and muted response from India. In fact, this century is the century of a Cold War between two Asian neighbors, which has just begun. India can no more ignore deliberate Chinese acts of sending a contingent of PLA into Gilgit and getting into threatening postures. We have to respond by cultivating nations like Vietnam, Japan, Australia and USA. To counter China’s trump card of Pakistan, India has to pay more attention to Afghanistan.

HUSBANDS TODAY BEHAVE LIKE DOMESTIC PETS!

This morning, during our golfing round, discussion veered round to GEN 'X' and GEN 'Y' . One of our fourome, a father of two GEN'Y' sons, suddenly burst out, " HUSBANDS, TODAY, ARE NO MORE HUSBANDS, THEY ARE MORE LIKE DOMESTIC PETS". Stunned, I asked him the reason for such a brash out pouring. He elaborated : AFTER YOUR SON GETS MARRIED, ARRANGED OR LOVE MARRIAGE, HE THINKS HIS PARENTS ALWAYS TALK TRASH.-----TO HIM, HIS IN-LAWS WORDS MAKE A GOSPEL TRUTH". This happens with most of the parents whose sons are NRI and in the IT industry. I remarked, " Sir, is it due to personal reasons or a very close observation of GEN 'Y' ?" I had known that both of his sons were married and we had a good impression of his daughters-in-law. On the face of it the DILs were very well-behaved and they were very happy in-laws. His answer further stunned us. The observation was made by his youngest daughter -in-law. She is a Punjabi girl, daughter of a very senior retired army officer----she is an epitome of good behaviour and obviously a very cultured girl. My friend informed me that her statement was based on her observing her colleagues in the IT industry. Of course, her two brothers, and Sisters-in-law have corroborated her impression. She is in USA and working with a renowned IT company in San Diego. Though, her empirical study refers to only Punjabi boys, but she found the boys from Andhra, Haryana, Delhi, HP, J&K, Karnatka, Delhi and Tamil Nadu are no better. Her study excludes boys from Bihar, Western UP and Rajasthan. She finds girls from Western region, head the list of magicians, converting boys into domestic pets. But girls from all over India, who are financially INDEPENDENT, show this streak of magic. This is also the reason for rising sea of break-ups and divorces. May be boys develop revulsion and show some gumption to chart out an independent path ! She has no data on North East and West Bengal. Some minutes back, I confronted a young girl to see her reaction. She blasted me left, right and centre : Uncle, why are you making so much of noise? Is n't it a good turn of the tide? For centuries, you men had reduced the woman as a domesticated 'CAT'. For a while, enjoy the fun as a domesticated pet ------" I had no answer---perhaps some of you might have the answer to her legitimate query. I only pity the parents, who bear the brunt of this change over of their sons. In Haryana, before they marry their sons, they disown them legally. This practice might spread in North India very fast, for, you never know, when this PAAPU, under the magical spell of his wife, might shunt them out of the house. Parents of PAPPUS, are you reading this? Don't you think the pros and cons sounds very interesting----such views coming from young girls need to be reviewed-----I thought it would be appropriate to ask the Sulekhites. May be they have different views. It is NO offence to anyone person or the region-----Punjabis, please excuse me if you think I called Punjabi boys as PAPPUS. Any comments! Welcome, please, within the limits of decency and chivalry-----I accept everything. All the same it did evoke my interest It seemed very interesting and I put it down. And sir, it might NOT be applicable to modern gegeration only. Thanks anyway. I am grateful to you. Regards. Rajee Reply | Delete | Block this user | Report Abuse V-S-Gopal posted 3 hrs ago Dear Rajeeji, Very interesting! I am clueless about what is really happening in families in general. You are discussing educated and moneyed families as such. Older parents don't have to need any help from their sons unless they are too old or in some ways dependent. It's possible that their daughters-in-law have their own minds and grandiose ideas about their independence and status! They will be working, and earning heftily, a sign of modern times, as so for these "girls" the parents-in-law take the last priority! But how would the sons become "pets" to their wives? Pets in what ways? Do you mean that they can be dictated to (rather than pampered like pets)? Possibly! A sign of changing times! Cheers and regards! vs gopal PS: I like Ashu's comments! Make sense! With best wishes-JFW Reply | Delete | Block this user | Report Abuse pradeep arun posted 7 hrs ago it appears to me that these are the socialization problems!! - pradeep arun Reply | Delete | Block this user | Report Abuse ashualec posted 9 hrs ago Uncle , the problem is that people think that the "DILS " have changed their sons.My view is that the sons were already parasites ..the female came and acted as a support .I feel today's generation most of them sons and daughters are becoming very self centered .When they do not think of their parents , how will they think of their inlaws unless they have something to gain from them .I blame the parents specially mothers for this situation, if you mollycoddle your son too much , he becomes a programmed machine who first follows the mother's instructions and then switches over to his wife.Any selfmade gur or girl would not do it ....I am sure about it .

In my life's journey where have I reached?

In my life's journey where have I reached?
When I look back, dimmed images I see !

Of course, I do remember the laps of my mother-

Compound of my house and the love of my sisters;

I cannot forget the days, when I wove my dreams-

But where have I landed chasing things unseen?

------ In my life's journey where have I reached?
When I look back, dimmed images I see !

I marched over unknown paths with countless detours,

I kept going fearlessly, for I was focused on my core;

I did not look back ever, what an obsession it was ?

Friends parted, relations collapsed, as restless I was.
--------In my life's journey where have I reached?
When I look back, dimmed images I see!

when I do recollect the moments which have gone-

I find them woven with tales of my selfishness alone;

Not only neglected parents, also, my duties I forgot,

The golden dreams they had, I put them to naught..
--------In my life's journey where have I reached?
When I look back, dimmed images I see!

There is still a chance today, stop in your strides;

Wake up from your sleep and have a reality ride!

Take stock of your life and see what did you gain?

Your hairs have grayed and your face is strained.
--------In my life's journey where have I reached?
When I look back, dimmed images I see!

AN ODE TO MY TWO GRAND-DAUGHTERS!

A strange query in my heart drums;

As and when the year 2030 comes----

When, probably, I might not be around;

Who would wear Miss World Crown?

Would it be my sweet little Anaisha?

Or it would be my darling Anushka?

Both of you have the potential to win---

For, morning shows shadow of the sun.

The game should start with 'spelling-bee'--

In the year 2020, a stiff race it's going to be;

Both of you, ought to make it to the final---

Calm and composed would win the title.

A decade would precede the 'glamor- show',

Ten years would polish you, as you grow;

Both shall develop as blooming rose-buds---

The whole world your fragnance would flood.

Remember, as you enter such competitions--

Wining is second to a healthy participation;

Moral uprightness must be your guide-----

As you attain fame and glory, side by side.

As grandfather, I see both of you as winners,

Not a desire but a prophecy of a well-wisher!

May you both extol the name of your parents!

May 'formula of success in life' be your patent.

GAME CHANGER !-AN ENGLISH SONG !

Game Changer! Game Changer!! Game Changer!!!

Whenever plans meander,

We need a game changer;

Is he a crime-buster?

Is he an evil duster?

Is he an ice-breaker?

Is he a lie-detector?

Is he a mind-bender?

Is he a truth- defender?

Who is a game changer?

Game Changer! Game Changer!! Game Changer!!!

Whenever crime swells,

Life on the earth is hell;

God has a role to play--

So does the GEETA say;

There comes a crime-buster;

Who is the Game changer?

He is the terminator,

HE is the lie-detector--

Oh, who else is game changer?

He is the game-changer.

Game Changer! Game Changer!! Game Changer!!!

Whenever evil spreads;

Might is the ruling head;

Honesty does not pay;

So does the wisdom say;

You need a war-maker,

Who is a game changer;

HE is the Terminator;

HE is the Game Changer--

Oh, who else is game changer?

He is the game-changer.

Game Changer! Game Changer!! Game Changer!!!

Evil men often rant,

They are the law of land;

Justice will not be there,

Might is the only player;

You need an ice-breaker,

Who is ther game changer?

HE is the Terminator;

HE is the Game Changer--

Oh, who else is game changer?

He is the game-changer.

Game Changer! Game Changer!! Game Changer!!!

As liars begin to rule,

Truth is not their tool;

Murders will look suicide,

Frauds will courts preside;

You need a lie-detector,

Who is a game changer?

HE is the Terminator;

HE is the Game Changer--

Oh, who else is game changer?

He is the game-changer.

Game Changer! Game Changer!! Game Changer!!!
