MOHAN BHAGWAT, MOTHER TERESA AND UNWANTED CONTROVERSY!

       I am no supporter of Mohan Bhagwat and RSS. (Some years back, I had riled out a thought that he was working at the behest of Congress and he deliberately caused NDA defeat in 2004 and let down LK Advani and Jaswant Singh in 2009. I have not changed my opinion on him, since.) To me , most RSS leaders are lose canons and lack real grasp of national issues. It is a one track mind organization, immersed in the thought process of 1920s. This Organization has not grasped the dynamism of modern India. All the same, social work done by it, is laudable, though its leaders need some lessons on " The handicaps and Compulsions of India in 2015".

       However, I do not understand the motive of a deliberate controversy created by "NDTV", " Indian Express", "The HIndu"and Congress on a casual statement of RSS chief, Mohan Bhagwat, on Mother Teresa's real work. What is so disrespectful he has uttered about her that they are all up in arms against him? Are they trying to say that 18 years old teenager nun had come to India to fight poverty? I am sure she was not sent to India even for sight seeing or holidays. What would a 18 year old girl from Macedonia know about India and her poverty? And we are talking about the year 1928----- when means of communication were very limited and flow of Information was at a snail's pace.

       She was a Christian missionary and the purpose of these Christian Missionaries is well known. They are meant to propagate their faith and religion and convert people to their faith. Question may be asked as to why only poor people? Very simple answer because poor can be very easily enticed. If this is NOT luring and converting one's religion , then, what is this? How's "Ghar Wapisi" different from "Charity work"? To say conversion was not her purpose is to deny the real facts on grounds. And if she did it, why should there be any objections? In fact, those who are baying for Mohan Bhagwat's blood actually want to deny this because to them , it is a criminal Offense now as Hindu Organizations have started doing the same. If it was good for Mother Teresa, what is the problem, now? This is the problem. Why should not Hindus do it? If it has to be stopped, it must apply to everyone.

       Before I go to sketch life history of Mother Teresa, I would like certain fact to be known. It would reveal some astonishing facts of her real motives. She was not what she projected herself to be. Sheltered by INDRA Gandhi's Congress, she misused donations to be sent out of India to Vatican. Let us see some important facts about her , all culled from Internet, as under :--

1. MISUSE OF DONATED MONEY.

       It has been alleged by former employees of Mother Teresa's order that Teresa refused to authorize the purchase of medical equipment, and that donated money was instead transferred to the Vatican Bank for general use, even if it was specifically earmarked for charitable purposes. See Missionaries of Charity for a detailed discussion of these allegations. Mother Teresa did not disclose her order's financial situation except where she was required to do so by law. No wonder, Arvind Kejriwal had worked for her and learnt the tricks from her finance handling. An IRS man as he was, he added more jugglery to it and perfected the art , as is evident from Forged four Cheques, worth 2 Crores, received by AAP in May 2014. Today, he is Mother Teresa's strongest supporter, along with Congress squeakers.

       An Indian-born writer living in Britain, Aroup Chatterjee, who had briefly worked in one of Mother Teresa's homes, began investigations into the finances and other practices of Teresa's order. In 1994, two British journalists, Christopher Hitchensand Tariq Ali, produced a critical British Channel 4 documentary, Hell's Angel, based on Chatterjee's work.

2. NO ANGEL OF POOR PEOPLE.

       "Hell's Angel" is a 1994, BBC, Channel 4, television documentary about Mother Teresa by Christopher Hitchens, a precursor to his book, The Missionary Position. The film claims that she urged the poor to accept their fate, while the rich are portrayed as being favored by God. Hitchens and Tariq Ali wrote the show's script. In his book The Missionary Position, Cristopher Hitchen, in a frank expose of the Teresa cult, unmasks pseudo-miracles, questions Mother Teresa's fitness to adjudicate on matters of sex and reproduction, and reports on a version of saintly ubiquity which affords genial relations with dictators, corrupt tycoons and convicted frauds. Hitchen maintains that Mother Teresa had glorified POVERTY for her own narrow motives.

        Given the real-world implications of Theresa’s ministry – taking millions of donations, using none of it for the palliations or treatment of the dying Indians in her care, and allowing herself to be ruthlessly and absurdly used by dictators and monsters for the purposes of public relations – it is not only warranted, but necessary to demolish Teresa's icon image. The book is eye-opening and a handy little answer to everyone who has ever used Theresa as a icon of compassion. The book also exposes what should be horrific for believers as well – the forcible conversion of the dying to Catholicism through unwanted, secretive baptism. The spiritual equivalent of rape.

3. DUBIOUS CONNECTIONS WITH FRAUDSTERS.

        She accepted money from the British publisher Robert Maxwell, who, as was later revealed, embezzled UK£450 million from his employees' pension funds. Criticism does focus on Teresa's plea for leniency in the Charles Keating case. Keating donated millions of dollars to Mother Teresa and lent her his private jet when she visited the United States. She refused to return the money, and praised Keating repeatedly. There has been a lack of media investigation of her relationships to these individuals, though Christopher Hitchens was a strident critic.

        She supported Licio Gelli's nomination for the Nobel Prize in Literature. Gelli is known for being the head of the Propaganda Due masonic lodge, which was implicated in various murders and high-profile corruption cases in Italy, as well as having close connections with the neo-fascist Italian Social Movement and the Argentine Military Junta. This explains her closeness to communists and its Indian mouth piece in Media , today, the NDTV.

4. POOR MEDICAL CARE FOR HER PATIENTS BUT THE BEST FOR SELF.

       In 1991, Robin Fox, editor of the British medical journal The Lancet visited the Home for Dying Destitutes in Kolkata and described the medical care the patients received as "haphazard". He observed that sisters and volunteers, some of whom had no medical knowledge, had to make decisions about patient care, because of the lack of doctors in the hospice. Fox specifically held Teresa responsible for conditions in this home, and observed that her order did not distinguish between curable and incurable patients, so that people who could otherwise survive would be at risk of dying from infections and lack of treatment.

       In contrast to the conditions endured by the poor in her hospices, Mother Theresa sought the most advanced modern medical treatment available for herself, visiting world-renowned clinics in the United States, Europe, and India.

5. SUPPORT FOR INTERNAL EMERGENCY AND INDRA GANDHI .

       After Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's suspension of civil liberties in 1975, Mother Teresa said: "People are happier. There are more jobs. There are no strikes." These approving comments were seen as a result of the friendship between Teresa and the Congress Party. This explains as to why she got BHARAT RATNA in 1980 and Congress's special love for her.

6. ANTI ABORTION CRUSADER.

      Mother Thresa, true to be a Roman Catholic, was a strong opponent of abortion, e en if it was due to rape or sexual assault. In her Nobel Prize acceptance speech, she declared, "Abortion is the worst evil, and the greatest enemy of peace... Because if a mother can kill her own child, what will prevent us from killing ourselves or one another? Nothing."

      In the aftermath of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, it was determined that more than 450,000 Hindu women in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) had been systematically raped. Even in these circumstances she asserted her rejection of abortion by publicly denouncing abortion as an option and by calling upon the women left behind to keep their unborn children. She characterized her views later when asked in 1993 about a 14-year-old rape victim in Ireland, "Abortion can never be necessary... because it is pure killing."

7. Who Was Mother Teresa?

       A Catholic nun and missionary, Mother Teresa was born circa August 26, 1910 (her date of birth is disputed), in Skopje, the current capital of the Republic of Macedonia. On August 27, 1910, a date frequently cited as her birthday, she was baptized as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu. Mother Teresa's parents, Nikola and Dranafile Bojaxhiu, were of Albanian descent. Her father died when she was 8 years old.

    In 1928, an 18-year-old Agnes Bojaxhiu, decided to become a nun and set off for Ireland to join the Loreto Sisters of Dublin. It was there that she took the name Sister Mary Teresa after Saint Thérèse of Lisieux. A year later, Mother Teresa traveled on to Darjeeling, India for the novitiate period; in May 1931, Mother Teresa made her First Profession of Vows.

      Afterward she was sent to Calcutta, where she was assigned to teach at Saint Mary's High School for Girls, a school run by the Loreto Sisters and dedicated to teaching girls from the city's poorest Bengali families. Mother Teresa learned to speak both Bengali and Hindi fluently as she taught geography and history and dedicated herself to alleviating the girls' poverty through education. She became school 's principal in 1944. She taught in the school till September 10, 1946, when she set up her Order of the Missionaries of Charity. She received a Noble Prize for peace in 1979 and  in 1980 , she had won BHARAT RATNA, the highest civilian award in India. She died in 1997. She has been accused of anti- abortion and asking poor to accept her fate.

INDIAN MEDIA--- AN AGENT OF CHAOS AND DISUNITY !

        The principle of "News with social responsibility and accountability" is unknown to Indian media or if known, it is deliberately ignored, without realizing the consequences. In the race for TRP ratings, English medium TV channels and their Hindi appendages, flout all norms of social responsibility. Unverified and false news items are flashed and circulated to create a sensation and chaos. By the time truth comes out, damage is already done. In fact, instead of reporting news, India media creates news. The recent example is of Indian Express and its CEO Shekhar Gupta, making mountain out of a mole hill of Coastal Guard DIG's casual remark, distorted and twisted, to present it as if PAKISTANI boat was blasted by Indian Coastal Guard, on the new year evening. It was perhaps a drunken boast in a party and not a public statement. It can not be taken as real truth. Even, if it was, what was a need for so much noise on the Pakistani Boat which was loitering in Indian waters. It could be an inadvertent mistake. But the thrust of media argument is to embarrass the government. If Shekhar Gupta and Co are so concerned about the life of Pakistani Taliban , they should go and preach this to General Raheel Sharief , COAS of Pakistan Army. Who does not know how Shekhar Gupta and Harinder Baweja had led Vajpayee up the garden path in February 1999, when they came back with an invitation for talks from same Nawaz Shrief after interviewing him in January 1999? Vajpayee fell into the trap and Kargil happened. It is the Same Shekhar Gupta, who accused a former Army Chief, General VK Singh, of engineering an army Coup. He does get fancy ideas in his dreams. There are so many fancied news items to his name that one is surprised he was not sacked by Indian Express management.Time to put him back in his place.

      The media is an agent of disunity and disharmony in India. It pitches, one community against another. It creates meanings into words uttered by individuals. Take for example Narender Modi's famous/ infamous comments on a 'Pup -coming -under -the -wheel -of -a -car', when asked about GUJARAT riots of 2002. It was a simple statement to say that one feels hurt, even if a pup gets injured under the wheel of a car and therefore it was natural for one to be perturbed when Humans are involved. Media read it as Modi equating Gujarat Muslims with PuPs. There are numerous such instances when many a reputations have been shattered through Media mischiefs. It is now turning out that Isharat JAHAN encounter case was totally a Congress-prompted and a media backed up case to malign Natender Modi and his close confidante, Amit Shah. This has now been revealed by Mrs. Natrajan, an Ex Congress minister in UPA regime. 

        Recently , a lot of noise has been created in the public domain that Christian Institutes and places of worship have been attacked to terrorize them to convert or leave. Even President Obama of USA talked of 'religious Intolerance' in India shocking Mahatma Gandhi. The theme of all these news items was that Hindutava Forces have begun to raise their ugly head since the rise of Narender Modi as Prime Minister of India. I don't know what they mean by " Ugly Head"? Aren't missionaries of other religions doing the same things amongst socially underprivileged amongst HINDUS? Surprisingly, on one hand, they are converting them  as Christians and Muslims, on the other hand , they want reservations for these converted people as applicable to Scheduled castes. AndI am told other religions do not follow Caste system. Even during the Delhi elections, there were protest marches by Christian organisations to criticize BJP. And all this was inferred from "Ghar Bapisi" ( Home Return) programmes by RSS (Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh) , who launched a social programme to reconvert low caste Hindus , who had left its fold to become Christians and Muslims. RSS viewpoint was that they were mislead and lured by other religions. And RSS was only motivating those who were willing to come back.

         After examininning the issue it comes to light that Indian media jumps to conclusions, may be at the behest of its foreign masters. "Goeblian lies " are resorted to make such falsehoods as true events. In most cases, they later turn out to be CREATED NEWS. In fact, Indian media has been rightly called a bunch of "News Traders". I feel there is a need to have a law to severely punish such NEWS SELLERS in the interest of National security and integrity. May be, there licenses should be cancelled and infrastructure confiscated. Here is what has now come out on what exactly happened in all these incidents reported about ATTACKS on Christians. This has been reported in "First Post ", an online magazine :---

"------------The first of these six alleged attacks, the fire that resulted in the burning of St. Sebastian Church in Dilshad Garden, is currently under investigation by a Special Investigative Team (SIT) set up by the Home Ministry shortly after the incident occurred in December. it seemed that  it was a case of electric short circuit. In a second incident, in Jasola, it was alleged that a group of miscreants threw a stone and shattered a window pane. The police commissioner, as reported here by a news editor and here said it was due to a group of kids playing outside, which resulted in a stone landing inside the church. There is no evidence as yet of any communal angle.

The third incident in Rohini, in which the Christmas crib was charred, was determined by the police to be the result of an electrical short circuit. The fourth incident in Vikaspuri, in which a small group of men allegedly vandalised a church, turned out to be the result of a drunken dare. What’s more, they were caught on CCTV and arrested shortly thereafter by the police and have confessed to the crime. Again, there’s no evidence whatsoever of a communal angle.

The fifth incident in Vasant Kunj, allegedly a case of burglary, is currently under investigation by the police. The sixth and most recent incident, in Vasant Vihar, of a burglary at a Christian school, has been determined by the police and the school itself to be a case of theft— Rs. 8,000 was reported to have been stolen — again, no communal angle. And, according to the Delhi Police themselves, there’s no evidence whatever that these six incidents in Dilshad Garden, Jasola, Rohini, Vikaspuri, Vasant Kunj and Vasant Vihar are related or part of a pattern of attacks on minority institutions. Further, again according to the police themselves, and as noted above, there’s no evidence that communal sentiment animated any of these attacks.------------"

      You see , how these events were manipulated in Indian media to undermine current BJP government at the centre, in General and Narender Modi in Particular. it is disgraceful for Indian media. Freedom of expression does not mean you circulate rubbish. I am NO Narender Modi follower nor a member of BJP. In fact ,I detest Politicians and persons with religion on their sleeves. I strongly believe that MEDIA, RELIGION and POLITICS have kept the nation divided. Islands of disunity have been created because of selfish motives of politicians. However, I admire Narender Modi, for man's vision and concern for India. He rightly says secularism to him is Indianes. I agree with him. Therefore, I want to give him time before I say anything against him. But forces inmical to unity of India do not want him to continue because a strong central government would undo their 67 years of fragmenting India like a medieval ages country , ruled by small kings and feudal lords, squabbling with each other. It would then be very easy to enslave them.

        China has been advocating break up of India into 20-30 states. North east and Maoists insurgency is Cinese creation.  Pakistan has been fighting China's OUTSOURCED WAR on India through KASHMIR and PUNJAB because it feels Pakistan can not be SE cure and peaceful till India exists. And in its eagerness to counteR India, it has been selling its sovereignty to China, who has already got the rights to develop warm water port at Gwador. Besides, Pakistan has been seeding militancy in India through Taliban. Last UPA government had totally ignored these forces busy destabilizing India. Rise of Narender Modi was therefore a welcome step for the security and defence of India. He has become a thorn in the flesh. This is why all this noise about Hindutava and charges against Hindu organisations. And India media has become a willing participant in the Balkanization of India. There is a dire need to make Indian media responsive to Indian security and social harmony needs.

Nawaz Sharief, PM of Pakistan has taken INDIA to UNO saying that like Kashmir India had forcibly kept Fast bowler Mohammed Sammy who was a Kashmiri Muslim . He asserted that Mohamned Sammy can not play for INDIA, being a Muslim and a Kashmiri. Nawaz Sharief alleged  That Sammy could have been drugged. This is why he destroyed PAKISTANI World Cup team, otherwise he won't have done so.

Heard from UNO that Ban Ki Moon , Secy Gen, UNO was asking his staff , "What is World Cup Cricket? Why were they fighting over an insect?"

On getting the complaint, Ban Ki Moon, Secy Gen UNO, raised this query with INDIAN PM, Narender Modi, who replied-----India's one Muslim is better than 11 Pakistanis--- and they say Pakistan is the dream home land for MUSLIMS----11 Pakistanis can not face our one Kashmiri Muslim and they say KASHMIR HAMARA HAI. ?????????

Ban Ki Moon was last seen pulling his hairs and swallowing aspirin tablets one after the other to relieve his pain in the brain.

I Thought the message must go home that DREAM HOME LAND of MUSLIMS of SOUTH ASIA is in a Chaotic disarray and Indian Muslims are much better off . They enjoy all the privileges which Pakistanis lack------ why do you think  most PAKISTANIS, such as Actors, comedians, cricketers and serious patients were making beeline to India. Despite all its shortcomings, India is a great home for everyone. Some bickerings between communities will always remain. They are even within families when estrangebrothers bay for each other's blood. But later they always stay peacefully. It is this unique flexible character of Indian culture that India  survived as a secular country for more than 5000 years---- Fools only try for GHAR BAPISI (HOME RETURN)------------ they are not going anywhere. ELECTIONS OVER: PERFORM MR. ARVIND KEJRIWAL!

PERFORM Mr. ARVIND KEJRIWAL : NO RHETORIC AND ALLEGATIONS.

Elections are over. Delhites have given you more than a dream victory. Now, get down to real business: Deliver and perform Mr. Kehriwal. Do not resort to excuses and allegations. You know what has happened to BJP for dithering on promises made. They had swept Delhi in Parliamentary elections. But Delhi has reduced it to a zero, nay a double Zero.

In this age of FASTFOOD and DISPOSABLE CULTURE, people get impatient. Your time has already begun. Beg, borrow, steal, manufacture but produce results. Modi did not even get one year to clean the muck India had collected over the last 67 years. People got disenchanted with him in nine months. You will get six months as SILENCE PERIOD to sort out the filth of last 16 years. Thereafter, people will start talking of the unfulfilled promises. Understand this.

Water and electricity is the biggest concern of the slum dwellers, who have voted in force for you Mr. Kejriwal .What matters to them , is bread and shelter and NOT high voltage accusations and palming off the blame to Narender Modi and Central government. As an ex-IRS officer you are not an illiterate. You knew about truncated state of Delhi, with no resources of her own . It has no industry; No minerals; No electricity generation of its own and no drinking water sources. You knew all this. Didn't you? People expect you to do this miracle.

Performance is not to make high voltage anouncements from the ramparts of Red Fort. It is things happening on ground.  You have to organise resources and govern and NOT blame centre for NOT cooperating with you.  Knives and daggers will be out , if you makes such silly excuses. Do not do what you have been doing throughout your life I.e. running away from responsibility. This is a golden opportunity for you to get  rid of "BHAGODA" TAG ( ESCAPIST) .  Message is loud and clear: Play the fair game of democracy with transparent and fair rules. Do not fool around.

Let me caution you against siding with decaying political forces, such as Lalloos and Nitish Kumar of Bihar; Mamta Bannerjee  and Parkash Karat of West Bengal; Mulayams and Mayawatis of of UP or any other such leaders, who want to walk again , using you as crutches, after having been decimated in last Parliamentary elections in 2014. I hope you take counsel of Kumar Viswas , who stated on NDTV the other day, that AAP fight was against corruption and not against an individual, such as Modi.

Do not rush to form 'anti- Modi front', though it might seem tempting to you now after the election heat. Some times, a statesman politician has to take these things in his own stride. Show that you are the one. Even, if you are not, do try to become one because whole of India is looking at you and Narender Modi , as the two alternative "future fortune- makers" of India. The era of NEHRU - GANDHI politics is eclipsing. The decimation of Congress is a clear indication of this. Congress has no Charismatic leader like INDRA GANDHI to revive it. Now, it is in the Political ICU of the country, breathing because of artificial respiration by its tons of money generated over the years.. Your failure will mark its revival. Your primary vote bank is the old Congress vote bank.

Let me also tell you another thing. KASHMIR is the nucleus of India's nationhood. You got to rein in your party members like Gopal Rai and Prashant Bhushan from making irresponsible statements on it. You must know that their utterances on KASHMIR can create serious problems for the existence of AAP.No Indian, more particularly, Ex Servicemen ( ESM) who have shed their blood for the last 67 years, would accept any scale down on existing status. Remember, India's boundaries can not be redrawn.

I do not have to remind you that it was the ESM community , who has tilted the balance in your favour. ESM might not have a chunk of votes but they are opinion makers in every village and nook of the country.  Each village and city have their own ANNA HAZARE . They have no political ambitions and they are utmost loyal and stay so till national security is threatened because they are nationalistic to the core. Their political allegiance is immaterial if national security is endangered. They will not only dump you but also work against you, Mr. Kejriwal. They had their own grouse against Narender Modi because he breached the trust they had reposed in him.  BJP and Modi thought they could use them as Political condoms I.e. Use and throw. They detest such usage as POLITICAL CONDOMS.

Final word of advice comes from your own political leader, Ashutosh, who remarked on NDTV, when Exit Polls showed AAP heading for a big victory. He said words to this effect: THE LESSON FROM DELHI ELECTION IS FOR EVERY POLITICAL PARTY. IT IS TO PERFORM OR PERISH. There is NO disagreement on this. No excuses. Just get on with doing your job and deliver the 8th WONDER OF THE WORLD. And the only way to do so is by standing along with Modi and seek his cooperation but not confrontation. You better ask your party members to stop ogling venom against him on the TV channels. Do it in house, if you have to do.

DELHI ELECTIONS : A BIG FARCE.

People of Delhi fool themselves when they vote for Assembly elections because Delhi Government which emerges after elections is a lame duck government at the mercy of a party ruling at the centre. So, if they have voted for Arvind Kejriwal, they would have another spell of non governance and non delivery of promises by AAP. Two reasons I will give for defeat of BJP. They are:-

  (a) Public perceptions of recent state elections victories of BJP going to the head of Narender Modi and his self image of a man larger than life. This is evident from his suit with self -name pin stripes, he wore during OBAMA Visit. People became suspicious of his motives and intentions. And the CHAIWALA was conceived as some one who was drifting away from ground realities. People want to bring him down to Mother Earth.

 (b)  Betraying the trust of Ex Service Men (ESM) , who campaigned for Narender Modi in large force during parliamentary elections. He started his campaign from Rewari in September 2013. ESM might not have votes but they are opinion makers. They are loyal soldiers alright but they can hit back if their trust is betrayed. I see it as coming because there was a lot of resentment on account of non- implementation of promised OROP on silly grounds. If at all AAP wins, it should ESM community for the same.

In my earlier article   DELHI ELCETIONS 2015--- TWISTS AND TURNS, a few days back I had best explained the view point of a COMMON MAN ( Not of AAP) of Delhi when I said, I quote, "-------In a way, victory of AAP in Dehli is desirable, as it would ensure that BJP remains firmed to the ground. The victory in Dehli would make BJP arrogant and disconnect it from the masses. BJP needs a shock treatment and Dehli alone can give it. The reason for this is the fact that it has been deviating from its stated promises. It has almost forgotten about its tall promises of "Black money Repatriation", OROP promise to ex servicemen, prosecution of Robert Vadra and corruption minimization.---------"

This explains why AAP would win. Primarily, it would be a reminder to BJP and Narender Modi to stick to their promises. People do not want rhetoric but action. They want results. And on these counts, as stated above, BJP and Narender Modi were withering. One man who can take the blame on behalf of BJP is its Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley. He has put spokes in the implementation of a number of promises, personally made by Narender Modi. And his biggest blunder was turning ESM community against BJP for going silent on OROP for considerable amount of time. ESM community might not have own votes. But they influence voters. Every village and locality of India has a ANNA HAZARE. This BJP had ignored.,

All said and done, projected Delhi defeat of BJP if does come about, it should be seen as a knock on the knuckles to remind her of its promises. It must not be seen as a referendum on Narender Modi. However it should give no solace to Delhites. AAP will not be able to do what it promises because of a number of factors, some of them highlighted in succeeding paragraphs.

 As a young school going child in the early 60s, I had attended an election rally by Sardar PARTAP Singh KAIRON, late Chief Minister of Punjab. It was for general elections. He had told the voters, in Punjabi,  "JADON VOTE PAYOGE, YAAD RAKHNA, KHAZANE DI KUNJI MERE KOL HAI. ( When you vote, remember , I am the custodian of treasury key). He had implied that as Chief Minister of Punjab he controlled the finances for the development of Hoshiarpur District. Despite this open threat, Congress lost and Major General Jai Singh ( Retd) , Bhartiya Jan Sangh candidate, had won. But Hoshiarpur remained underdeveloped with state government paying no attention.

There you are, then. Who controls finances of Delhi? Financially, Delhi has no substantial revenue of its own. It's budget is dependent upon doles from the Centre. It has no major industry. Most of the economic activity takes place in NOIDA which is part of UP.

Delhi produces no electricity of its own. It depends upon private Distribution Companies , who buy it from National Power Grid , controlled by the Centre.
It is NOT understood how, AAP will keep its promise of reducing electricity Bill.

Drinking water for Delhi comes from Haryana, which has a BJP government. Anytime its water pipe line and water tanks can go dry, so, how's AAP going to manage drinking water for Delhites.

Law & Order is with Centre because it controls police. Therefore, there will be many administrative problems faced if AAP is voted to power by Delhites.

The revenue generated by Metro and Transport department can not be enough to run a government ruling over 1.80 CRORES People. At best AAP can create LIQUOR VENDS at every nook and corner of Delhi to generate more funds.

All in all If AAP has been voted to power by Delhites , they have voted for their miseries and ordeals. At best they can only expect from AAP  a regime which would be characterized by DHARNAS, protesting, launching agitations etc. against the Union a government, who would further tighten the screws.

This ENGLISH media supported victory of AAP would play a big farce on Delhites.. Most members of AAP, including Arvind Kejriwal, are not AAM ADMI------ some rickshaw wallas in the fore front are only masking the face of these money bags in the background. How can a person call himself an AAM ADMI , if his wife is earning around Rs 1.5 LAKH as pay every month?

The victory  whose foundation is on falsehoods, bound to turn into defeat in a short period of time. Delhites, be warned for another elections in a year or so, if you have voted AAP to power. You have bought this problem for yourself because you have backed up a wrong horse, who was rejected by the whole country.

Two days back, after his return from India visit, BH Obama, President of USA made a very casual statement on religious intolerance in India. He had done so, even , while in India. One wonders, if Sheetla Tiestawad was his advisor on religious tolerance in India!  But, as soon as he did it, Indian Media, particularly foreign controlled English News media, both electronic and print, lapped up the story to do their favorite "Modi- Bashing". Every one and anyone of who's who of Indian media and also politics started castigating the union government. It seemed as if it was almost synchronized and pre - planned with the Indian media, though it would be far stretching the argument.  

Why did Obama make this India - specific observation? Was this reaction of Obama to some statements and actions by Hindu organizations, like "Ghar BAPISI" ( Home Return) or 'India - is- a- HIndu Nation- statement' by RSS Chief? How does he ignore the raging noise of " Islamophobia" in Western world, even if it was as a reaction to Islamic Terrorism? Is't it religious intolerance by Christians of Europe? If Islamophobia is accepted as a reaction to Islamic Terrorism, why call assertion by Hindu Majority in India as intolerance?

 Can a Muslim or a Hindu become President of USA? Can a Muslim become Prime Minister of Israel? Can a Hindu become a ruler in a Muslim or a Christian majority Nation? Is this practice an example of religious tolerance or intolerance? Contrary to this, India has had MuslIms and Sikhs as Presidents and Prime Minister.  Unfortunately, Obama forgot about the New York Bishop who, two years back, had threatened to burn all the mosques in USA. He forgot about his own case of racial discrimination, which he faced in his growing years. 

Why was he then, pontificating India? He might not be though in the picture frame but there is a framework of foreign intervention in India. Is there, then, some kind of a foreign conspiracy to destabilize India? Yes says, RSN Singh, an ex Raw officer , in his article POLITICAL TERRORISM TRAVELS TO INDIA in an online magazine, Canary Trap . Here is an extract of his chest thumping statement :-

"------The progenitor of this terrorism is the Western World. Earlier in the Cold War era, regime changes in target countries by the intelligence agencies like the CIA and KGB were effected by assassination of leaders, who could not be bought, blackmailed or intimidated.-----

------------As democracy proliferated, external agencies began to manipulate its very basics to cause instability in the target country for furtherance of economic, religious, social and geo-strategic agendas. These basics include the right to dissent and oppose. The dissenters or protestors are paid and prodded to go to such a limit that the State is forced to resort to ‘minimum force’ to restore order and stability. This is then exploited to cause destabilization through the paid agents. Such agents come in form of ‘Kejriwal’.----------"

While what RSN says might be based on his conjectures but doubts do rise. The conduct and actions of some parties and leaders do add weight to his arguments. In fact, the Indian media is so biased that one can easily see some kind of a conspiracy. When a Muslim priest issues a fatwa to Muslims to vote for AAP , there is no noise in the Indian Media. Statements by obscure Muslim religious heads are given prominence by media not to criticize but to influence and channelize minds of the Muslims. Look at this statement by the head of AIIA (All India Imam Association) , Maulana Mohd Sajid Rashidi. To quote him, he said : "All India Imam Association to support AAP in the Delhi elections: Maulana Mohd Sajid Rashidi,". Similarly, Maulana Abdul Bukhari, so called Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid in Delhi has made a call to Muslims to vote for AAP, though AAP claims to have rejected it. But the point is if a similar statement was made by Hindu Organisation, there would have been a lot of hue and cry. However, there is not a whimper of a noise in the media on these Imams and Maulana issuing biased directives. 

There is no doubts that Indian media is controlled by their foreign investors. This is a known fact. Even the ex- Chairman of Press council, Justice Markandey Katju, has made an appeal for people to vote for AAP and he has branded BJP corrupt and communal. He is an ex judge of the Supreme Court. One would have accepted if he had advised Delhites to exercise NOTA option but how was he ignoring Muslim appeals for AAP and assuming that AAP was NOT communal. Does not he know that Arvind Kejriwal has been hobnobbing with Maulanas and Qazis? During Parliamentary elections Arvind Kejriwal had raked up a controversy by cozying up to a Muslim Priest who had announced prize for George Bush's head. How's AAP clean when forged cheques are used to convert black money into white? One fails to understand how a Supreme Court judge can ignore these facts? 

Is he calling BJP communal because of Hindu assertiveness ? Has he gone into the causes of this? Weren't Hindus pushed to a corner because of wrong policies of political dispensation ruling India for 56 of the last 67 years? The tragedy is the irresponsible statements of our political leaders , particularly the Congress , over the last 10 years have split the polity into MAJORITY Vs MINORITY, nay, HINDU Vs MUSLIM. 

In fact, over the last ten years or so, under the Congress rule, an impression had grown amongst the Hindu community that to call one self a "HINDU"under Congress and her cohorts rule was a "crime". You see, they openly talked of "HINDU TERROR", and when it came to "JIHADIS -Terrorist Acts", they conveniently state that "TERRORISM" has no "RELIGION". This was open appeasement and favoritism by rulers and leaders.  This is what led to majority assertiveness, where even caste ridden states like UP and Bihar , too, who always voted for their caste , turned against such leaders and voted ENMASSE for the BJP and NARENDER MODI. 

And if you believe RSN Singh, he must have got his valid reasons, it seems Arvind Kejriwal is a Congress, nay, Sonia Gandhi creation. His far fetching arguments , though, even suggest that there might be a conspiracy to deactivate Congress in its present form and recreate in its AAP avatar because present congress has many a scams and scandals to its name. He also sees media hand in all this murky politics of Delhi Elections to ensure AAP victory, as desired by their foreign masters. He says :--

"--------In the run-up to Delhi Assembly elections, one senior journalist of a TV channel is believed to have said in an editorial meeting that Kejriwal’s victory has to be ensured by hook or by crook in order to save democracy. Regular news TV viewers can easily decipher this channel, as it is now not even pretending to be a news channel but a political propaganda machine for Kejriwal. Some of the other subverted channels are little more guarded. These are the same channels, which in run-up to the Lok Sabha elections constantly bombarded the audience with the photographs and questions as to who would be next Prime Minister – Rahul, Modi or Kejriwal? It was another matter that Kejriwal’s party was not in the wildest calculus. The moot question is that a party, which enjoys the support of ‘Aam Aadmi’, why should it resort to funding from abroad?------"

 This article is worth a read to understand what is going on in the churning process of Indian politics. There is definitely an involvement of foreign money in a big way, particularly from Euorope, Middle East and Saudi Arabia. You do not need rocket science knowledge to know as to who were the beneficiaries of this money in India. Pitching, 'Minority ' against the ' Majority' is with a definite aim of destabilizing India. Unfortunately, short sighted Indian politicians, particularly, regional and caste satraps , can not see beyond their nose. And they make Indian politics more murky and stinking with their personal agendas at the cost of national security and interests.

DELHI ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS 2015-------- TWISTS AND TURNS !

Voting for Delhi assembly elections is due on February 07,2015. Results are to be announced on Feb 10, 2015. Results would decide as to who was going to be the next Chief Minister of Delhi, I.e. Kiran Bedi or Arvind Kejriwal. It could be neither, too, because pollsters are predicting a close finish and it might turn up as a hung assembly once more. If so, it would be an electoral journey from nowhere to nowhere. Such are the turns and twists in Delhi elections that they make it more melodramatic and romantic. The run up to elections is very very interesting.

Initially, BJP had an advantage and edge but latest predictions show that AAP has closed the gap and votes share of the two parties are placed around 34-35%.------ BJP coming down from 50% vote share from the parliamentary elections of 2014, when it had won 60 out of 70 assembly seats and AAP had won only 10 seats . Congress was a total wash out. It is now asserted by Shekhar Gupta of Indian Express if Congress vote share goes below15% then AAP is the sure winner in these elections. This he stated on the NDTV on February 03, 2015.

It seems Congress votes have shifted to AAP and it is NO more a player in Delhi. One wonders if INDIA's LIBERATION from CONGRESS RULE has begun from India's capital. Unfortunately, for congress, there is NO charismatic leaders like INDRA GANDHI or Sanjay Gandhi , who could resurrect it , like it was done in 1980, after the 1977 debacle. Its win in Parliamentary elections in 1985 was because of a sympathy wave and NOT because of the dynamism of Rajiv Gandhi.

While congress might have suffered because of unabated corruption during its 10 years rule under the dispensation of SONIA GANDHI and Man Mohan Singh , the question comes to mind is whether it's alternative AAP is any better. It is a fact that Congress might have got corrupted with 56 years of her rule out of 67 years, but AAP is showing signs of corruption even before it has come to power. Just two days back it has been accused by her break away group AVAM ( AAP Volunteer Action Manch) for accepting HAWALA MONEY DONATIONS from dubious sources.

It is a known fact that a lot of Gulf money is rolling in through Hawala route in India. Some even suggest that ISI of PAKISTAN is funding some of the political outfits in India through ARAB Countries route to ensure weak central and state governments to retard its progress and cause disunity. The rise of Narender Modi as a single party leader on the Indian horizon has struck the alarm bells in the Middle East, China and Pakistan. It is NOT Narender Modi they rue but the single party rule which can take harsh decisions in the best interests of the country. India has wasted 25 years since 1989 because of  "KHICHDI GOVERNMENTS " those ruled India.

It won't be a surprise that some of the new political outfits with dubious credentials of its leaders might be financed by foreign agencies to ensure the weakening of Indian polity. It is already known that most of Indian media , particularly ENGLISH language media has vested foreign interests in India. Some of the known TV news channels like IBN7, NDTV, AAJ TAK, HEAD LINES TODAY and ABN News have more than required sympathies with AAP. It seems they want AAP to come out winner.

In a way, victory of AAP in Dehli is desirable, as it would ensure that BJP remains firmed to the ground. The victory in Dehli would make BJP arrogant and disconnect it from the masses. BJP needs a shock treatment and Dehli alone can give it. The reason for this is the fact that it has been deviating from its stated promises. It has almost forgotten about its tall promises of "Black money Repatriation", OROP promise to ex servicemen, prosecution of Robert Vadra and corruption minimization.

In fact, Narender Modi and other BJP big wigs, are busy in photo ops-----mere gimmicks and NOT real actions. A Rs Seven Lakh suit, with his name as pin stripes, worn by Narender Modi, during the visit of President BH OBAMA of USA, is a clear expression of arrogance and power going to the head of a "Chaiwala". He has definitely digressed from his stated path. All the same it is too early to make a comment on his performance. But morning shows the shadow of the sun. Therefore "Dehli -Shock" is a must for Narender Modi to retrace his steps backwards.

Let me in advance give reasons for BJP failing to hit the finishing line before AAP. I suspect AAP victory because BJP has blundered on many accounts------ firstly, it has turned its biggest constituency against itself by dilly dallying on OROP. You see ESM might not have more votes but they influence the minds of general public. To me, Arun Jaitley has been the key figure in misguiding Modi on this. Secondly, BjP had forgotten about its promises on black money repatriation. It was making all sort of stories. MODI's advisors should have known about all these laws and rules before making big promises.

Thirdly, it is obvious that BJP victory in states after states had gone into the head of NOT only BJJP but also Natender Modi------ arrogance was visible during Obama visit. His Rs 7 LAKHsuit displayed this arrogance. He seems to be getting disconnected from ground realities . Fourthly, to announce Kiran Bedi as a presumptive CM candidate was a biggest strategic blunder. It was an admission that Delhi BJP leaders were either dishonest and corrupt or they lacked leadership qualities. The fifth reason for its loss in Delhi Election would be disunity in Dehli BJP . There are enough under currents. This is my advance prediction. If it still wins, it will be 8th wonder of the world but harmful for the nation because MODI will turn a dictator. He  needs a shocker to come down to Mother Earth, which only Delhi could give him.

The victory of AAP in Delhi would give no solace to Delhites. Arvind Kejriwal  and his lieutenants are not known to be good administrators. They belong to kind of people who can be good opposition leaders. What is worse is the fact that Arvind Kejriwal lacks the principal trait of leadership I.e. DECISIVENESS. On the drop of a hat , he thinks of consensus and referendum , which is a time wasting tactics. If leaders have to run on remote control of Parties, then those who voted for him would be the sufferers.

Besides, Delhi government has nothing under its control other than daily routine matters.  Law and order and police are with the union government. Financially, it is at the mercy of centre. It has hardly any industry of its own. Ironically, it is dependent on HARYANA ( BJP ) state for its drinking water. It produces no electricity of its own and electricity distribution companies are controlled by private business who can be tail twisted by the central government.

Overall, while in the national interest, BJP needs a shock treatment but it would harm the Dehlites, who would rue the day they elected Arvind Kejriwal and his party to rule them. This is the irony of the Delhi elections because losers are no losers and gainers are no gainers. It seems after AAP victory in Delhi, it's ordeals would begin and the pandora box of its foreign financial funding through dubious means, so far blanked from public gauge would come out in the public domain.

Its recent writing to Supreme Court of India to appoint a SIT ( Special Investigation Team) on AVAM disclosures is clear indication of admission of its guilt. It is approaching the SC only to buy time before Delhi elections. AAP has been accusing others of dishonesty and now it's own ugly face has been exposed by its own members, who knew inside stories. It is a different matter that it has blamed AVAM as BJP agents who are smearing the good name of AAP. What is good , if on a single night you accepted four Cheques, 50 LAKHS each, from some unknown source and you don't even wince interest to know who was the donor, while you say you give account of even Rs  five taken as donation from a rickshaw walla?

There is a mind boggling mutiliation in their real face and the masked face. At least, they must tell the world as to how did the cheques land up with the party ? We're they delivered by hand? If so, who was he? Did they come through mail? What was the postal address? Asking for SC to investigate the case is to put the matter in a deep freezer for two to three years or even five years. There is a suspicion that it was "HAWALA " money which had come to it from Middle East.

AAP might win Delhi elections because of its known proximity as well as Muslim voters preference and rising hopes of the poor slum dwellers but the accusation of "Hawala Money" sticks, despite its cries against BJP and appeal to SC to investigate. This call to SC is too late to exonerate it of the crime, it should have done so in April 2014 , when it received the cheques. Being an ex IRS officer, Arvind Kejriwal is not a child not to know its source and dubious nature. It's a poor attempt now to mask its financial bungling. In fact it is a clear mockery of Indian Law. Supreme Court should take cognizance of this Tom foolery by AAP.

Perhaps, many more are seemingly in the pipe line by AVAM group. AAP's governance of Delhi would be life less and full of self organized, "Dharnas", "Sit-in agitations" and protest- marches with no respite for Delhites from price rise, whopping water- electricity bills or even rapes and molestation of their women. My heart goes for Delhites because voting for BJP would harm national interests and voting for AAP harms their own interests. What they prefer would be known on only on February 10, 2015.

By all accounts, 'Black-Money-Repatriation' from foreign banks is following the "Bofors Scam" route. In other words, nothing tangible will come out of it. Every now and then, noise will be made by media not to seek its repatriation but to serve its own interests. Politicians and political parties out of governance, would raise dust in the parliament, the so called TEMPLE OF DEMOCRACY and MOTHER OF TRUTH but this is where it would end. I wonder if Indian Parliament was the real "Graveyard" of many a Truths! Here, CAG reports to many a Commission of Inquiry reports lie buried deep in its precincts, where common man has no access but media has. 

The beauty of India is : While common man would always show optimism in their scheming and manipulating leaders and media; fistful of cynics like me would continue to look askance; yet, FARMERS OF BLACK MONEY PLOUGHING in foreign banks would go about their business without any inhibitions. You see, "BOFORS- The Scam" is dead but long live "BOFORS- The Vote Catcher"! So, "Black -Money-Scam" is dead but "Black -Money - Political - Booster" is alive. So, curtain drops and now enters Anna Hazare with Indian English and electronic media blowing the trumpet! 

Anna Hazare, untiring crusader against corruption and black money, as well as ditched-mentor of Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi, is fuming hot with anger at Narender Modi Government for failing to get the black money from foreign banks and thus, backing out from his pre-poll promises. Anna is now threatening to launch a stir against the government inaction and passivity. In fact , he is cut off with Government reply to Supreme Court which says that all details can not be disclosed because of bilateral pacts with governments of countries seen as tax- heavens, where all this money is plonked.

Most of the crusaders against black money find Arun Jaitley, the Finance Minister of India , as a stumbling block in the whole process of repatriation of this money. May be we do not understand the difference of political statements when in government and when out of it. This is the key issue. BJP and its key leaders made boastful statements, both in parliament and outside of getting this money back to India with the twinkle of an eye. Soon after coming to power , Jaitley and co realised the embarrassment it would cause to most of the known and friendly persons, not necessarily of BJP. 

Unfortunately, Baba Ramdev has suddenly gone quiet. Either he has been silenced or he has realised the futility of fighting with the big guns of Indian media. Yes, Indian media, who are the real stumbling block because they are the biggest beneficiary of corruption, black money and "Hawala operations". You know about Radia tape cases and involvement of BARKHA Dutt of NDTV. it is a different matter that all these cases are suppressed by black mail and use of influential persons. 

You know how last CBI director, Ranjit Sinha,was blackmailed by media through Prashant Bhushan. It was not to fix him but to make him forgo ongoing investigations against NDTV and P Chidambram. Obviously, you won't believe it because such news get blocked in the media because it affects brother in arms. The truth about Indian media , particularly, English media, that it was the mother of corruption and black money. This is the reason that most cases of black money and corruption do not surface out. 

Take this letter written to Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister Of India, by Sh. KPS GILL, ex super cop from Punjab , asking him to investigate the CASES OF MONEY LAUNDERING by NDTV in collaboration with Sh P Chidambram. He wrote this letter on January 26, 2015. It is available on the inter net but none of the TV channels of India thought it worthwhile to discuss and debate,nay, not even big mouthed, Arnab Goswami, Karan Thapar and Rahul Kanwal----- the whiz kids of Electronic media in India. The opening sentence of KPS GILL letter says ; 

"Dear Shri Arun Jaitley,

  

  I am writing with regards to efforts by two serving IRS officers in the disguise of litigations in the public interests to suppress inquiries & investigations by agencies such as CBI, CBDT, ED,SFIO, RBI SEBI etc. over money laundering/ tax evasion/corruption/ receipt of bribes & illegal gratification/ embezzlement of Government money/ theft of secret records, etc, by Shri P Chidambram, NDTV, complicit IRS officers and culpable relatives, not necessarily in that order. ---------" 

The letter goes on like this, making serious charges of Rs 5000 Crores of illegal bribe & gratification to P Chidambram in 2 G scam through the NDTV network and services. It also lists out that Rs 1200 Crores were received by him from G/ E Corporation of USA in a Rs 24000/- Crores deal in Dabhol- Enron scam through NDTV. Surprisingly, nothing has come out in the Indian media. There is a public interest litigation filed in the court but Media is not interested. 

All this noise media makes occasionally is to divert public attention from the back hand deals it makes with money laundering giants. In order to get the deal, noise is made through people like Anna Hazare, Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi by propping up NGOs such as IAC---- India Against Corruption. Why do you think most of the journalists , today, are rushing to AAP and BJP. they have realized , where the big money is and how to extract their pound of flesh from the booty. So, this recent noise by MEDIA about Anna Hazare is a game being played by the blackmailing media. This is not to say that Narender Modi Government has anything concrete on this other than GOLDEN SILENCE. 

In fact I am now getting suspicious on a number of letters by many well known defence personnels, such as one talking about the good behaviour of Indian Embassy in Australia, other talking about excellent change taking place in Railways and the latest one by a Col Raju saying as to how his mother's pension case was resolved by PMO in four days which MMS government did not do even in four years. They seem to be a propaganda stuff by BJP's tech savvy leadership. They could very well be forged and concocted. I have been trying to ring up Col Raju--- mob Number given by him--_ but he is not responding. My suspicion grows with every non- responded call. 

In the end I would say, that Indian media is deeply in cohorts with Indian politicians of all hue and cry and government law enforcement agencies.what you see in media is what these people want to show you. No one is trustworthy. Do not waste time in listening to so called big debates on NEWS HOUR, TO THE POINT or BUCK STOPS HERE. This is all rubbish. Even reading news papers must be done with open mind and not to get influenced by the razzle- dazzle of News- Trader's views. NEWS CULTIVATION has become a big business in India.

CIVIL AND MILITARY AWARDS!

Salim Khan, Actor Salman Khan's Father refused Padma Shri awarded to him on this Republic day, saying that he deserved a bigger award. Earlier newspapers reports indicate that Shri Shri Ravi Shankar and Baba Ramdev refused to be nominated for these awards. What is the credibility and importance of these awards? The rejection by these eminent persons bring out that these awards no more exult the pride they once did.

Coming to defence services awards this year, some 57 Lt Gens out of 75 and 43 Major Generals out of 275 were given distinguished service awards. Some are questioning the distinguished service rendered by these awardees. Their quantity is higher in higher ranks and proportionately reduces till it becomes ZERO for Capts/ Lts. What do we mean by distinguished service? Is it for a length of service or a particular year?

Aren't there appropriate medals at 9 years, 20 years and 30 years? What was so distinguishing service given by 57 Lt Gens that 18 others did not do? Doesn't it show bias and favouritism? Weren't they paid during the time they held the rank? What extra thing they did other than their desired duty from Air Conditioned offices.

What is the aim of awarding Civil and gallantry awards? Are they meant to motivate others to do some good that benefit the society and the nation or they are meant to recognise the good work done by the award winner? Was this good work beyond the call of duty? Then, this good work done ought to be spelt out. But most of this good work generally benefits the person concerned. In civil walk of life, other than name and fame , monetary gains also accrue to the person who does something good.

Take the case of Sachin Tendulkar, Bharat Ratna awarded to him. Is it to motivate INDIAN youth to play cricket only and make money for self? Now do not add the spin that it was meant to motivate all sports. What about Hockey wizard Dhyan Chand or Athlete PT Usha or even Kapil Sev and Sunil Gavaskar? How are they less than Tendulkar? He did it for himself--- Kapil did for the nation----why MS Dhoni even did better. How about Amitabh Bachchan? Sure, he was the emperor in his field. Are we telling the youth --- Play Cricket--- earn name, fame and money but stop from becoming soldiers?

Also, see the way these awards are dished out by respective governments and Army Chiefs. A favoured few get them for nothing. Rising quantity of awards decrease their importance. Obviously, when supply is more than the demand, the price falls. Simple rule of daily life.

Even international awards such as NOBLE PEACE AWARDS have dubious distinction of being fixed. How did Malala Yusuf or Kailash Satyarthi qualify? A general refrain is that both served the Western objectives. In fact, Satyarthi was NOT even known in India. An Internet write up on him claims that he has done many unethical & anti INDIA actions, which qualify him only for treason.

Take the case for a number of Bollywood awards. General impression is that most of them were fixed and rigged. This year's Star awards dished out BEST ACTOR AWARD to Shah Rukh Khan---- there was nothing he did which Abhishek or Boman Irani did not do, to get this award for HNY. No wonder people like Amir Khan, Sunny Deol , Ajay Devgan and many other sensitive Bollywood personalities do not attend such award functions because they have no value.

We are having our own cases like 'Ketch Up Cols' or "Number Game" in J&K----what is the respect, then one has for these awardees?

EXISTENTIAL INSECURITY AND PARIS 9/1 ATTACK

fter Paris 9/1 attack a huge solidarity rally of nearly one million people was held in Paris on January 11, 2015 to reiterate Western world’s resolve to fight against terrorism and protect principles of freedom, liberty and fraternity, enshrined in the concept of democracy. Many world leaders, including from Palestine and Israel, attended it. The solidarity rally may be an attempt to reconfirm its faith in fraternity and liberty but it indirectly not only underlines the inherent ‘existential insecurity’ embedded in the ‘unbridled liberty’ practiced by Western Societies / Democracies as well as it also displays a wide gap between ‘idealism’ of this thought and ‘pragmatism’ of its execution. The basic fault lies with the social system, where a child is allowed to go on his own after his adolescent age. There are no checks and no parental restrictions. Such an uncontrolled growth from adolescence to adulthood is vulnerable to promises of ‘existential security’. Religious preachers and hawks exploit this very vulnerability of the human being.

As an aftermath of ‘Charlie Hebdo’ attack in Paris, questions are being asked in France and the Western world as to how come modern educated man / woman, fond of ‘Beaches and Bikinis’, turn into hard-core Islamist terrorists? Eyebrows are raised on the fact that thousands of young men from Western Europe have gone to war zone in Syria and Iraq to fight for Islamic State (IS). This is a stunning news though not surprising. Everyone is particularly surprised at the behaviour of a white woman, Hayat Boumeddiene, the partner of Paris kosher supermarket gunman Amedy Coulibaly, an African man from Mali. What brought the transformation in her from an ‘easy going woman’ to be a hard-core extremist?

Was it because of the company of the people she kept or was it because of lack of control on her actions? The corollary to these questions is: Could this have been avoided? Does society need checks and restrictions to prevent such transformation in normal and ordinary human beings? Social scientists and Western educationists have to understand the significance of an old saying: Excess of everything is bad, nay, extremely bad.

The excess of liberty and freedom, bordering ‘political stupidity’, can be gauged from the fact that the wife and family of a convicted hard-core terrorist in France, Djamel Beghel, has been staying rent free in Leicester in England for many years. Writing in The Telegraph of January 09, 2015, Bill Gardner, says, “… Sylvie Beghal, a French citizen, lives rent free in a four bedroomed house in Leicester after she came to the UK with her children in search of a more ‘Islamic environment’.” Allowing such notions of unchecked ‘Islamic environments’ encourage overground terrorist organisations to cultivate material, moral and money support from simple folk by misleading them to believe that Islam was in danger.

The rising clouds of uneasiness and restlessness in Europe and Western world, due to wayward behaviour of its educated youth, under the influence of ‘Islamists’ is causing adverse reaction in the form of ISLAMOPHOBIA. The truth of the matter is that such a behaviour is the result of an unbridled SOCIAL and FAMILIAL freedom-cum-liberty, allowed to children, after they leave school. While it allows an independent growth but it also creates a vacuum in the mental slot for a ‘guide / mentor’. Invariably this space would be filled by someone else, if parents do not.

Shouldn’t Indian philosophy of caring and guiding your child till you die be examined and appreciated? Under the Western influence, though some of it is losing shine but respect for the family elders still remains, though not at the same level, as enjoyed in the past. But it is there and Indian Children are amenable to parental authority. This is where it was opposite of Western social system and it made the Indian man more amenable to authority and discipline.

The negative point of Indian social system was that it made Indians lose their Individual identity and they could be easily controlled by familial diktats. Handful of foreigners could rule them because they controlled the feudal lords. Most people ascribe Indian vassalage and foreign rule for this character of Indian society. Once again it only proves that excess of everything is bad, nay, next remedy bad. Despite this weakness, all foreigners, through the annals of history, adopted this social system except for the British people because they thought it is akin to enslaving the human mind.

Britain and Europe enslaved societies in Asia and Africa while they talked of free human spirit, liberty and democracy. Winston Churchill, Second World War Prime Minister of England, hated native Indians and found them uncouth, crude and incompetent to rule. Ironically, their own system was more primitive and advocated enslaving other humans as inferiors and weak. The Western concept of family system is similar to a practice in the ‘Animal Kingdom’. In the Western societies a child is left to be on his / her own after the age of 15 or on leaving the school. This needs to be reviewed by Western educationists and social reformists.

When parental guidance is missing, the young mind falls prey to anyone else substituting as parents. This is the reason behind uncanny behaviour of youth, shown by such movements in the West as Hippy cult of the 60s, ISCKON or such other Cults. And today, religious bigots are filling up the PARENTAL SLOT, not only in the Muslim world but also the Western countries, whether it is ISCKON or any other spiritual movement. This is crux of the problem of Western society.

Primarily speaking, it is the ‘Existential insecurity’ in every person, right from the day he was born till he dies. He / she looks for security in parents, friend, wife, husband, or anyone who can be a “guide” to satisfy this social Human need. If there are gaps he wanders around to fill it up. This is where the ‘Islamist strategists’ have succeeded in moulding and influencing the child in educated human beings by suggesting a way out of his ‘existential’ problem. The lure of 72 virgins and going to ‘Jannat’ (Paradise) after you die fighting ‘Kafirs’, is the answer to this problem given by Islamist thinkers. They do fill the slot of PARENTAL GUIDE.

But reverse is also true where “Islamophobia” is now gaining ground as an answer to Islamist terrorism. Basically, it is aimed at gaining control of the parental slot in the human mind to pitch him up against Islamist terror. And all this is happening because of unbridled freedom and liberty being enjoyed by the child and the resulting loss of parental control. Human anatomy is such that no space /slot can remain unfilled.

A defence mechanism in human beings looks for a suitable candidate to fill the slot. And, more often, RELIGIOUS PREACHERS move into the slot and provide him the intellectual solace. This could have been very well done by the parents themselves. It is the “Existential Insecurity” of a man which has been exploited by the religious teachers down the ages and this has been the biggest problem of humanity.

BUTCHERS OF PESHAWAR--- ARE THEY GOOD OR BD TALIBAN

Killing of 140 or more innocent school children is such an inhuman and a barbaric act, which can only be performed by desensitised and deranged people. No civilised person would accept this diabolical carnage, however one dislikes the other person. Pakistan must realise that demons have come to live within Pakistan and their population is on the increase day by day. If left unchecked, it would be catastrophic for Pakistan as a polity. India cannot feel comfortable at a destabilised Pakistan. Pakistan establishment ought to take this viewpoint of India seriously because India no more lives in 1947 and to her Pakistan is a reality as a neighbour. It is this lack of confidence that makes Pakistan view her as an enemy till eternity.

‘Butchers of Peshawar’ ought to make Pakistan’s establishment realise that there was nothing GOOD about Taliban; it is all BAD and horrific. It is time for Pakistan and its leadership to realise that Taliban has outgrown its desired role and become a monster, nibbling at the very foundations of Pakistan. Pakistan has been rearing and nourishing a devil in its backyard, hoping to use it as a strategic asset to create ‘strategic depth’ in Afghanistan. Taliban cannot be treated as a STRATEGIC ASSET anymore.

Pakistan must give top priority to its KHYBER PAKHTUKHWA (KPK) and tribal areas and put Kashmir in a deep freezer, at least for next 10-15 years. Save whatever is existing as Pakistan. In the past, their bid to annexe Kashmir, led to loss of its Eastern wing, ie Bangladesh. Now KPK and tribal areas are threatening to fall apart, while Pakistan military has been busy manipulating events in Indian Kashmir. Its focus must change. It must smash the inexorable head of this snake gobbling up Pakistan.

Pakistan must come out of the mindset of 1947 and reorient itself as a people of 21st century. Its hatred of India has led it into this psyche. The other day after the champion trophy semi-final match between India and Pakistan at Bhubneshwar, this hatred was unequivocally displayed by its hockey players. The obscene gestures reflected the venom that has been stuffed into every Pakistani over the years by Pakistan’s ruling junta. Officialdom in Pakistan continues to blame India for Kashmir conflict and creation of Bangladesh, while true facts are otherwise.

It is this hatred which led her to three and a half wars with India over Kashmir. When it realised that it cannot annexe it through a military conflict, it unleashed WOM (War by Other Means) in Kashmir and India through its “Irregular Soldiers”. Later it tried to co-opt Talibans into this venture when Soviets went out of Afghanistan. “Jihad Factories” sprang up in its tribal areas of KPK.

But two events in the decade of 90s set at naught Pakistan’s WOM in Kashmir. First was the First Gulf War of 1991 and second was the 9/11 incident. In the first instances, the Gulf War allowed the leverage to India to pull Kashmir out of the jaws of Pakistan. “AZADI Movement” lost its shine because of West’s attention having different priorities. In the second case, Taliban fell out of favour with USA and Pakistan lost its greatest ally against India. Thereafter it was all a slide down in Pak-Taliban relations. And Peshawar massacre shows that it has reached its nadir of enmity.

A Pakistani anchor on ARY TV channel has blamed India and RAW for this carnage. He quoted from an article in Urdu Express newspaper of a few days earlier, where it was alleged that RAW would engineer two major terrorist incidents, one each in India and Pakistan, to put the blame on India. However India could retort back that it could be ISI job for its known connection with Taliban. Such a blame game is not the solution to what Pakistan faces internally. Therefore, it would be stupid of Pakistan to blame India for Peshawar genocide. Instead, it must seek Indian cooperation to deal with this monster. It cannot do so by blaming India as an excuse for raking up Kashmir. This issue has to go into a deep freezer, at least for next 5-10 years. Besides, Pakistan military ought to realise that without Indian help it cannot tackle Taliban effectively. If Pakistan continues its adventure in Kashmir, India reserves the right to exploit Taliban. And what it often accuses India of, might become a reality one day because nothing is impossible, when money plays its game.

Pakistan is always in a denial mode when told about Pakistan sponsored terrorist attacks in India, particularly Kashmir. In fact it calls the terrorists as ‘Stateless Actors’ though they roam about freely in Pakistan. Pakistan is not taking action against Hafiz Saeed, mastermind of Mumbai terrorist attack of November 30, 2008. Lack of evidence is cited as a reason, despite a full dossier having been handed to the Pakistan authorities by India. Now, what other evidence it wants. Hafiz is closely associated with Taliban.

Time for India and Pakistan to behave as responsible nations of the GLOBALISED world. The “Butchers of Peshawar” and “Killers of Mumbai” must be brought to the book at the earliest for endurable peace to be ushered in South Asia. And the ball is in Pakistan’s court.

PAKISTANI BOAT AND AFTERMATH--- RANDOM THOUGHTS AMONG QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS !

On the New Year's Day of 2015, an Indian Defence Ministry press release claimed that Indian Coast Guard had intercepted and challenged a Pakistani boat off the coast of Gujarat, some 365 miles away, but the occupants of the boat exploded themselves, suggesting that they had some ulterior motives. It also intimated that boat had taken off from KETI BUNDER, a fishing port near Karachi, in Pakistan. Indian intelligence agencies had intercepted, on December 31, 2014, some signal messages emanating between the boat and its handlers in KETI BUNDER. This was passed on to Indian Coast guard, which came into action immediately and started tracking the boat. The boat was tracked and kept under surveillance for 16 hours.

Press release had further clarified that there were four persons on the boat and when challenged by Indian coast guard vessel, they changed gear and sped away but were chased for an hour, when the boat exploded itself. The Ministry released a photograph of a boat in flames in the sea. The red fire emanating from the boat made some experts claim that it was not explosive fire (usually white) but diesel fire. Let experts scratch their brains as to what might have happened to explosives. However, the Defence Minister of India, Sh Maohar Parrikar, asserted this boat to be on a mission for some suspected terrorist act with some links with Pakistani officialdom.

As usual Pakistan denied it straight away and even questioned if it really had happened. It is understandable as no criminal would ever accept that he had committed the crime. And Pakistan is known for it. Even after tons of evidence against Mumbai 26/11 perpetrators, it keeps harping that there was no evidence. It would be interesting to quote here Munir Akram, ex Pakistani Ambassador to United Nations, who in his article "War in the Shadows" in 'The Dawn' wrote, "-----However, some groups, like the Lashkar-e-Taiba, although outlawed and aggrieved with the government, refrained from attacking the Army or Pakistani targets and maintained their focus on India. They demonstrated their extensive capabilities in the Mumbai terrorist attack.-----". What other evidence is required when its own Ambassador to United Nations is claiming it?

Anyway, forget what Pakistan is saying or doing? What is more astonishing was the reaction and outburst of Indian media and Congress party? They are raising such childish questions that one wonders at their advisors? They are repeating the same mistake as they did it with "Samjhauta Express Blast"and gave Pakistan an excuse to counter attack India. One is really shocked to note the way Congress, Indian English Media and other Modi - haters were making unholy noise about this incident. No doubts, the losers have to criticize every act of Modi. But the Congress party does not realize that it can not win back Indian electorate by criticizing the security forces acts on security but doing something constructive. All the same, just forget it because Congress was unwittingly playing the Pakistani game. Strategists of Congress party must realize as to how the common man in India sees their unwanted reaction. Anyway, let us move on.

There is no doubts that it was a boat carrying some arms and ammunition for terrorist action in Indian state of Gujarat. And there are reasons to believe this. This might have been a retaliatory action of Pakistan military against its perceived Indian hand in the Peshawar genocide. This could be a pre- emptive strike to put off PARVASI BHARTIYA MEET on January 07-09, 2015 or VIBRANT GUJARAT meet in Ahmedabad in January 2015. This could have been as well a move to send a strong message to USA, on the forthcoming visit of BH Obama , President of USA, to India for her Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2015. It could have been with or without the consent of ISI. It could be either by Good or Bad Taliban. The underlying fact is that it had happened and I am convinced that it was an intended terrorist act, which was foiled in time by India.

The question which keeps bugging my mind is : was it the Indian intelligence agencies who had trailed and tracked this boat from KETI BUNDER , near KARACHI or it was some one else who tipped off Indian agencies. Yes, your guess is right. I am hinting at USA. I am convinced that it was USA that pre- warned India about this boat and likely stuff it must have been carrying. It is a different scenario whether the boat was intercepted , taken over and destroyed or it was blown up by the occupants. My cerebral tissues say that probably it was the first scenario.

But, why would USA do this and tip off India? We all know that President Obama of USA is visiting India around 26 January 2015. The advance announcement of the visit has been a biggest goof up by India and USA. This definitely allows planning time to bête noises of USA, I.e. AL Quaeda and HAQQAMI NETWORK of Afghan Taliban or even some US - Haters in ISI of Pakistan. I am sure they did want to do something in Modi's Gujarat, when President OBAMA would have attended VIBRANT GUJARAT meet of NRIs in January 2015. And I have no doubts, terrorist act was planned to give a message to USA prior to OBAMA's visit to India and stall his participation in the said meet.

After the announcement of the visit of the President, US intelligence agencies won't sit idle. We all know how concerned US intelligence agencies were when President BILL CLINTON visited India in late 90s. Therefore they would have been monitoring all possible sides which could generate threat to their President. Definitely, Pakistan would be under their scanner. USA could track down Osama Bin Laden, a top secret of Pakistan's ISI for ten years because of its strong network in Pakistan. Therefore I have no doubts some "Richard Headley David" in ISI would have alerted the US intelligence agencies. Let me emphasize even if ISI was not involved, it certainly must have got the wind of it through her own sources within Good Taliban.

USA has its intelligence sources all over Pakistan. Announcement of $ 532 Million aid to Pakistan under Kerry- Lugger package , just the following day of this incident, is an indication to me that USA wants ISI to be kept amused. This terrorist action must have been planned and coordinated with some elements of ISI. The GOOD TALIBAN can not do anything without the help of ISI. The BAD Taliban, at this stage would be more interested in sorting out the Pakistan Army. ISI wanted to not only give a message to USA but also create military tension between India and Pakistan to win over BAD TALIBAN and divert their attention.

But as I have said earlier, USA has her sources at every inch in Pakistan, including ISI. Some one let out this impending act and US agencies tipped off the Indian agencies, not as intelligence sharing exercise but to protect and safeguard her own President, while in India. India's NTRO ( National Technical Research Organization) then took over by warning the COAST GUARD and concocting the story of intercepting radio messages from KETI BUNDER. This seems to be most likely truth because intercepting messages from KARACHI was beyond the capabilities of Indian intelligence agencies.

Rest of the story about tracking and chasing the boat by COAST GUARD seems to be nearly correct. Why nearly correct? How come report says that there were only four men on the boat? How did they count and from what distance, unless they were very close to the boat? The surety with which Indian MOD says that there were only four persons on the boat gives me the impression that the boat might have been captured with four persons. The possibility of the the terrorists themselves blowing up the boat can not be ruled out. Look at the fact that boat was under surveillance for 16 hours. I have a lurking feeling that occupants of the boat might have been nabbed .

What about the second Boat? How come Dornier air craft did not pick up the second boat? There was information that the "Expensive stuff " was to be disembarked on a second boat. I am sure the second boat also might be lurking around in the near vicinity and the Dornier aircraft on recce mission would have picked it up. They had been keeping this boat under surveillance for 16 hours. Definitely, air reconnaissance would have revealed the coordinates of the second boat. Was it picked up and taken for interrogation?

Did the interrogation of the would be terror actors reveal the plot of the terror attack, which Defence Minister , has been, now so openly claiming and even naming the involvement of Pakistan Marine security agency? I have a feeling my hunch is correct. Having got their target, they further extracting the juice. This is my inference from what is on the platter.
