In my life's journey where have I reached?
When I look back, dimmed images I see !
Of course, I do remember the laps of my mother-
Compound of my house and the love of my sisters;
I cannot forget the days, when I wove my dreams-
But where have I landed chasing things unseen?

I marched over unknown paths with countless detours,
I kept going fearlessly, for I was focused on my core;
I did not look back ever, what an obsession it was ?
Friends parted, relations collapsed, as restless I was.

when I do recollect the moments which have gone-
I find them woven with tales of my selfishness alone;
Not only neglected parents, also, my duties I forgot,
The golden dreams they had, I put them to naught..

There is still a chance today, stop in your strides;
Wake up from your sleep and have a reality ride!
Take stock of your life and see what did you gain?
Your hairs have grayed and your face is strained.
