Slighting words turn simple folks as demon.!

Slighting words turn simple folks as demon.

Pen, they say, is mightier than the sword-
Its misuse,however,society can not afford;
Swords cause no harm until used by men --
Slighting words turn simple folks as demon.

Pen is great, if its mission is love and peace,
It energizes people to achieve awesome fetes;
The ideas it generates lead to great inventions,
As multiple minds explore different dimensions.

If one goes through history, one is amazed-
How pen had brought about social changes?
Karl Marx's writings heralded new concept-
The world was soon by communism swept.

Words play havoc when laced with sarcasm,
Forget the enemy, even friends will have chasm;
We might recollect the cause of 'Mahabharta War-
A 'Duryodhna' got incensed at 'Draupadi's" remark.

"Blind man's son must be blind", Draupadi did say,
The seeds of devastating war were sown that day:
Death and destruction, then, followed very soon,
War of the 'cousins' became people's misfortune.

Pen are more harmful than the sword's duals,
Word not only causes conflict, also, hatred it fuels;
One ought to be very careful while using the pen,
For, it might hurt some, while you do write as fun.

One might write to booster communal harmony,
Or one writes to turn them into ferocious enemy;
In case of peace, swords remain sheathed for ever,
In latter's case, when pen drops, swords take over.

Sword, as a weapon, depends upon physical force,
Pen needs no strength but thinking mind, of course;
Sword, dear
'rajee', has only purpose of destruction,
While pen can usher growth or seeds of perplexion .
