Islamic terrorists have struck in the heart of free world, reminding France that security does not come by passivity but offensive action. Prevention is better cure than chasing mosquitoes in the turbulent winds. France and most of the Europe believe in chasing mosquitoes than keeping them away as does USA. French President has been known to display soft corner towards Islamic fundamentalists.
Rewind to what happened to a boat off the coast of Gujarat on the intervening night of New Year. No body should have a doubt that the boat was on a definite mission to deliver weapons and explosives for an intended terrorists attack in Ahmedabad , in and around January 7-9, 2015, when "Pravasi Bhartiya Meet" would have been underway. Only naive would think otherwise. While Indian security and intelligence agencies did an excellent job of intercepting and stopping the would- be -perpetrators of heinous crime, Indian Media and some Political parties are punching deliberate holes in this story by raising stupid questions.
The Congress party of India is so annoyed at this failed attempt as if it has lost a golden opportunity to pin down BJP and Modi. The silly questions it has been raising gives an indication that it has NO concern for security. Imagine this party has ruling for the better part of last sixty seven years. Its lackadaisical attitude on security led to unwanted loss of lives in India in the past few years. Congress concept of security is exactly like the Europeans : Chasing mosquitoes in the stormy winds or in other words reacting to terrorist acts. Most often the terrorists get away or they inflict unacceptable damages before they commit suicide.
Prevention is often a better weapon in counter insurgency than allowing unbridled freedom in the name of democracy. It implies that citizens have to cope up with certain restrictions on their freedom, which might cause inconvenience. They have to learn to live with it because such are the times and such is the threat world over. There is no point crying hoarse after the incident and making noise that stringent measures were being taken to punish the culprits.
The underlying principle of Counter Terrorism is to make the terrorists as haunted and seize initiative from them. Let them go on the run. Meet them with their rules of the game. Do not forget that diamond cuts diamond. This is what the free world has to do to ISIS, Taliban and Al Quaeda, otherwise the monster would continue to devour mankind. Everyone has to realise that ISLAMIC FUNDAMENTALISM is the biggest enemy of humanity. It has to be mercilessly put down if humanity has to survive. People must stop talking in masked terms such as terrorists were STATELESS ACTORS or TERRORISTS HAVE NO RELIGION. Islam is very much a religion and 90% terrorists come from this religion. In fact to save Muslims of the world, Islamic fundamentalism must go , otherwise Paris 01/07; Mumbai 26/11; Peshawar 16/12 and New York 9/11 would recur with regular periodicity.
Look , how easily they had carried out strike in Paris. It is strange that they were moving around with Klashiknov rifles in their car and no body noticed. No body even questioned when hooded men with weapons moved to Charlie Hebdo office. This is the price the world pay if preventive measures are not taken. Read this account:-----
